Jefferson's BBQ is one of my husband and mines favorite bbq places to get in Hot Springs since moving here in 2020. Their food is always mouth watering & the service impeccable. We hired them this summer to cater our family get together and everyone was blown away by the food! We ordered for 15 people, but it could've fed 30 people easily. Note that this is not a restaurant per se, it's basically a food truck parked on the side of the road that appears to be in a semi-permanent installation. There are no places to eat anywhere. So if you want to get food it's usually to go or to eat in your car. The portions are very generous, and the people are nice. I personally think the food is a bit hit or miss. Hands down the best catfish! No tartar sauce needed. The seasoning and crispy texture of the catfish were flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Beans, coleslaw and hush puppies were the perfect compliments, also. The only complaint is that they aren’t in Texas so we could enjoy this all the time. Highly recommend Jefferson’s!!
