Two out of four people at our table order a meal including salad. We ate what we wanted and the other two each ate a spoon full. There were charged both with an additional salad when their bill arrived. I called the manager the next day and was told this is their policy and even they charge kids that eat salad if their meal doesn't include it. My point we didn't ask for more salad and if I wanted to share my one bowl, I should be given that chance. I understand if I would have ask for another bowl but we didn't. Beware of sharing salads. Not real happy with their salad policy.

The waiter that was helping out his fellow waitress was phenomenal! Even after she got caught up, he still came to make sure we were ok!

Olive Garden food has always been a love for us. It's been a place for many memories for many years. However, moving to the Hot Springs area and visiting this location has been a bit of a different experience. We've gone twice now in the last 6 months.A great majority of the staff at this location are very unfriendly. The environment as a whole is dreadful. The only person that we see who seems happy, is always present, and willing to help is their busser. She is on her a-game and loves to smile. Last time, I gave her the waitress' tip since she helped us more & made our kids feel more welcome than the waitress did. This time, I did tip the waitress. She wasn't the best, but she did at least tended to us to the minimum. While the food is pretty close to Olive Garden standards, I think they can take it up a notch to perfect it. Ordered the watermelon sangria, which was very delish, but having so much ice it quickly was watered down. Chicken Alfredo was perfect, ravioli were great, breadstick cooked just right, and vegetables all were quite fresh. Areas of improvement would include proper presentation & portion size. ie give enough salad dressing and the proper amount of salad toppings. (We received like a 1/4th if an onion on our salad for 2 people.) I know that OG has very detailed instructions to make things consistent amongst locations, so by not following those, people can tell.Overall, the visit as a whole was OK. We really hoped the first time was just a bad example, but after the 2nd visit, I'm thinking not. Hope the management (who wasn't present either time) can get adjusted so the staff can get follow suit. Olive Garden should be packed and a highly sought out restaurant and this place is not.Kid-friendliness: We would consider this to be a kid friendly restaurant as far as food & drink options. They also provide a couple of options for "entertainment" (the menu with crayons and the kiosk). Staff at this location, on the other hand, aren't my prime pick for waiting on kids.

It was okay; but I have had better Tomato Spaghetti Sauce out of a can. Even the two Italian Sausages were dry and overcooked. The rest of the party enjoyed their Chicken Alfredo and Ravioli. The soups and salad were excellent.

I know how Italian food should be prepared. We gave this location a chance.Pasta and vegetables over cooked.Pasta wasn't drained well and wasn't tossed in sauce. The service was responsive and did the best with what they had. Seemed like every member of wait staff was under 22 years old. I'm not knocking the staff... just is one of those signs of problems for any restaurant. The store gave the immediate appearance of clean and functional, but as you spend time there, you find the veneer is pretty thin. I was eye level with an air vent that had enough dust on it to obscure the color of it.Hope them the best, but I don't see a need to return.
