The food was great however I ordered the fajitas and my husband wAs done with his meal and my rice was cold by the time I finally got my fajitas. Then the server changed my tip from $10 to $100. I got a notification from my bank saying my bill changed from $66 to $166. The manager refunded 100 but I seriously don't think that was all that should've been done when the staff tried to steal more than the check was.

I’m kicking myself for not taking a picture of my food this go round. So I ordered 2 of the Gran Papi plates for dinner the other night. (I ordered carry out) Got my food home, and it was cold. My rice was dead and hard. The sauce that was on top of my roll up thingy was hard and crumbly. My soft taco was soaking wet and gooey. And to make matters worse, I didn’t get my two quesadillas that was supposed to come with the meal. So I called and let them know and was told I would have some of my money refunded back onto my card within 24 hours. Didn’t happen. So now I have to call them again and see what’s up. I was very disappointed. I splurged and wanted a good meal because I was celebrating a birthday with a loved one. I was completely let down and my food was just awful. This was my first and last time to eat at this location. I am going to call back now and request a full refund. Very disappointing for a birthday meal. Cost for this let down, $38.00. No bueno On the Border. No bueno…

Best waitress ever on vacation Tx spring break had Allysa as waiter and best service ever at a On The Border we have recieved. We eat at this chain all over USA. Exceptional service. Eat here ask about Alyssa tables!!!
The food and service were really good. Our server was Ashley, and she was super sweet and took great care of us. The queso dip was super delicious, and I would highly recommend it. They also have great salsa and tortilla chips. If you have a chance, get the OMG cookie dessert who doesn't love deep-fried Oreo cookies. (Included a pic of them). The restaurant was a little older but clean, and the restrooms were clean. The staff were super nice. I would go back to this restaurant again. They have a nice little fireplace area, and you can see them warming up tortillas on the grill. They also have outside dining for when the weather is nice.

We visited on Sunday evening, had a table for 7. It wasn't that busy. We sat for 10 min before anyone brought chips n salsa then took our orders. We ordered drinks first with water. After 30 min of choking down chips n salsa(40 min after arriving) we finally got water. Our appetizers didn't arrive for another 10 min and we still didn't have our drinks. When the drinks arrived they were all wrong and 3 of them were wrong/returned 3 times. Our food finally arrived and some of the orders were wrong. Mind you we're all still being patient and nice but good lord it was terrible. We were there a total of 2 hrs and the food wasn't really that good and the service was terrible. I honestly have never endured such an experience at a restaurant before. I really don't like to leave a bad review and I leave reviews everywhere we go but this is my honest assessment. I'm sorry, but I do not recommend this restaurant.

I originally was going to get a take out order from Salsa’s but they were rude and kept hanging up on me. I called here and got such great customer service. Immediately the lady on the phone answered and seemed more than happy to take my order. She was very kind and thorough. When I came to the restaurant to pick up my order a lady greeted me and directed me straight to the to go station. The service here is impeccable and honestly it’s the best customer service I’ve received in a very long time. The food was also delicious and I think I’ll be dining here instead of other Mexican restaurants. Thanks for being such an outstanding place to enjoy food.

On a small vacation in Hot Springs and stopped here for a quick dinner. It is the usual on the border , nothing special just adequate Mexican food. Our server was very friendly and there was no wait. I would have considered 4 stars but I heard another customer say they saw a roach... then their waitress killed it and moved them to another table. (Not what you want to hear when eating dinner)
