Don't ask for the ranchero broth, it tastes like boiled water with 4 cubes of avocado and 4 of cheese.

I had a wonderful lunch here, on the back patio. I got the appetizer platter and was surprised by how flavorful every item was. I liked the staff, although my waiter never checked on me once. Can't wait to come back.

This was our first trip to Hot Springs and we were unaware a lot of places closed early or closed on a Monday. Rolando’s was open and we opted to give it a try and are sure glad we did. First the service was great. Our server was very friendly and nice. We had Lula’s enchiladas and El Plato Cubano. We loved the presentation of the plates - very colorful. The flavors were surprising and delicious. There were pickled cucumbers that are the best I have ever had. The sauce drizzle on the plate edge was very flavorful and the overall dishes were very tasty.

We absolutely love this place! Get the flaming cheese dip! I had Susu’s enchiladas and hubby had steak, chicken, shrimp fajitas. Wonderful service and cool atmosphere! Middle of downtown, easy walk from The Arlington. We got a bike carriage for $10.

The gentleman with several sheets of clip art tatooed on his face greeted my friend and I with " can I help you" which was odd walking into a restaurant, then the pink haired Jaquanda had anything better to do than be a waiter and was as repulsive as the food, I would highly recommend going anywhere but this establishment.

I find it hard to believe these reviews are real. We stopped by today for lunch and everything was terrible. We decided to sit outside and the server told us where to sit. We sat there for a while before he brought us menus. He took our drink order but didn't bring us menus until after he returned with our drinks. We ordered queso and guacamole for an appetizer. The server looked lost. He brought us some chips with nothing else. The chips seemed like they've been sitting out for a while. They were unsalted and stale. We sat there for at least 30 minutes with just chips on the table. When finally got the guacamole it was 12 dollars for a scoop a literal scoop We never got the queso. When we finally got our entrees the server asks us if we wanted silverware. As if we entended to eat with our hands. I told the server to cancel the queso which I'm pretty sure he forgot about anyway. The food was awful there was not a speck of seasoning not even salt and pepper. The only reason we ate it was because we were starving. We asked for drink refills and the server brought our cups back he didn't even fill them up he brought back half cups of dr pepper. We had also ordered 2 house frozen margaritas which were half melted by the time he brought them to us. Plus he charged us an additional 1.45 per rita for hornitos which we did not ask for. Thank God I don't live in hot springs seeing this place again would give me nightmares. I'm sorry to the owner but it was a no for me dawg!

Really enjoyed our experience. Food was great and reasonably-priced. I got this dish off a recommendation and did not regret it at all.

The two waitresses that are the top of the restaurant in the patio, since we arrived just because we are Hispanic, they didn't want to serve us, in my opinion anyone's money is the same, you can't judge a person by how they look. If you decide to work in a tourist place and you know that people come from different places, you have to at least be friendly and have to treat people equally, thanks to the guy at the entrance who decided to serve us no matter who we were, those are the people who want to work and have passion for what they do! very disappointed to travel 5 1/2 from houston tx here to explore this place!! The food actually is very good! And ambience is nice, except for the females waitresses!!!

Rolando's is one of a few top tier places to dine in Hot Springs. It houses a out of the norm culture and quisine. 3 different dining areas with each having their own ambiance! The service is good as is the quality of the prepared foods.

It's really pretty good if you've never had this type of food. Lighter and brighter compared to normal Mexican food type
