Best restaurant in Jonesboro. The sea food options are all delicious. Steak can be hit and miss. Service is great. The burger is the BEST! Highly recommended.

Went to Omar's I ordered the shrimp in brown butter Caesar, salad and the walleye. Elaine ordered the crab cakes and walleye. The food was amazing. We had to eat at the bar upstairs so reservations are recommended. It was a Monday night. Zac our server was excellent. The decor is upscale. Table cloths in the main dining room. Parking is close by.

Food was wonderful! I believe this is the only true "fine dining" restaurant in the Jonesboro area, and I was pleasantly surprised! Each item ordered came out delicious and plated beautifully! Heather was our server and she was a real joy. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and made sure our drinks were never empty. Looking forward to coming again as they had some wonderful fish options that I would love to try. All in all, the experience was a pleasure. We came around 5:00 on a weekday and they weren't very busy. We may of been the only ones dining when we were seated..by the time we placed our order, they had started to pick up nicely. I look forward to coming back. Ambiance is more fine dining and upscale...while the restaurant was clean, the bathroom could use some extra attention.

I had the shrimp and grits. It was good, but overpowering tomato creole and thin grits gave the dish more of a chowder feel than shrimp and grits.

First time dining at Omar’s and I gotta say for the amount of praise it gets it was lack luster.We got seated by the door which everytime someone came in and out, let in a gust of COLD wind that I couldn’t enjoy my food properly as I was freezing the whole time and couldn’t move to another table.The crab cake appetizer was alright, the dipping sauce very good and what made the dish honestly.I ordered the redfish and it was very underwhelming. It lacked flavor and the rice that came with was hard at certain bites, like they made it out of the box. The redfish lacked seasoning and it all very much reminded me of Mexican seasoning out of the box.My boyfriend’s dish was alright, he ordered the gnocchi piccata and he seemed to enjoy it although again lacking some seasoning.I’m not sure I’d dine here again seeing as a lot of the food lacked basic salt seasoning, but the atmosphere/lighting was good. And our server was great.

Louisiana BBQ shrimp is a must for an appetizer. Aged ribeye cooked to perfection. Baked Alaskan (dessert) was heaven sent. Hats off to pastry chef. Staff was patient and timely with our large party.

Omar's never disappoints. It's one of our favorite places to go for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries.The food is top notch, the staff is amazing and attentive. Everything I've tried on the menu has been incredible. Don't forget to check out their seasonal menu, which changes every few months.Parking: Street parking is available but may be limited at peak times. There are a couple of free parking lots close by and one pay to park lot a block away, but they're full a lot of the time too.

I was surprised at this local steakhouse it's one of the best that I've been to including in bigger cities. The food was delicious and the serving size was bigger than I was expecting, it does come with a hefty price tag but well worth it in my opinion. This is definitely somewhere I'd go on a date again.

I have been to Omar's multiple times and it's always been a great experience. This time we had a wonderful experience with a wonderful server named judd he was attentive very friendly and the food was amazing as always. Thanks Omar's for giving us a great anniversary dinner!

Food was awesome. Probably the best steak I had. We also had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which was really good as well. I had a glass of Prosecco and we had a blue berry lemon drop (I believe) the drinks were also very good. The shrimp was very filling and owe both ended up taking food home from our main course. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Overall a really good experience for a date night. I liked how it was lit for a night out. We could adjust the lighting on our table if we wanted to.
