We got a number card for our table but had to get up when they called our number. What’s the point in putting a number card on our table if we have to get up anyways? I got the catfish & shrimp dinner combo. My employees got dinner combos as well and none of our combos came with a drink. So I had to pay an additional $3 for drinks. My combo was 16.50 before tax plus buying a drink. Little disappointed a combo meal doesn’t come with a drink. The cashier was a Transgender he/she or whatever who couldn’t hear us place our order, being a little too extra and making it obvious to acknowledge their sexual orientation. One of my employees got the chicken po boy and asked for no Cole slaw but it came with Cole slaw. My other employee got a shrimp po boy said it tasted very weird tried it myself it had a funny taste. The catfish I got wasn’t no where what I expected. I’ve seen bigger fillets come from a minnow. Overall I paid $60 for a lunch that I wouldn’t feed to my dog.

4*on food b/c onion rings where burned yet sogging with crust falling off. Hushpuppies were oil soaked on the outer third of crust...4* on atmosphere due to sticky tabletops, lack of sugar substitute on the tables and secondary dinning hall's restroom was in need of cleaning. The soap dispenser was off the wall and not in working order. (How do employees wash their hands before returning to work?)Shrimp was good as always. Fried catfish was delicious as we've come to expect.
Food was fresh and hot. Everyone was very cheerful and the atmosphere was very much like having lunch with family or friends. I highly recommend this place and you don't know what you are missing if you have never been.

Eat My Catfish - Riverdale is my favorite place to eat. The food is always piping hot and delicious. Victoria is a great manager who wears many hats (waitress and cashier) and does them all with a smile.

I really like everything on the menu. Mamaws Tatar sauce is a must try. The patio made the experience by far the best with the enjoyment of the pleasant staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome.

The blackened catfish is really good! I really liked the beans too. The rice was way too salty for me though. The gumbo was just okay. The fried catfish was solid but not near as good as the blackened. I would go back.
