Excellent food. Had the fried okra and green mouth mussels from New Zealand which was made in white wine, onions, garlic, and a little hot pepper to give it the right amount of flavor and spice. Definitely a go to again place.

Love the Oyster Bar, particularly since the update. Had the Shrimp Creole with some grilled oysters. Both were excellent. Nice draft beer selection too.

Good food, nice atmosphere and ambiance. The service was good, but sometimes it may be slower if they are busy. I haven't been in a long time, but I would go back and recommend eating here if you are in the area. They may even have live music certain days of the week.

We recently spent a month in Little Rock (and loved it!), our favorite restaurant there (we went probably a half dozen times) is The Oyster Bar. The food, local music, great, diverse crowds on all fronts every night, and Rev. Don and Co. holding court behind the bar most nights, the service goes without question. From Neptune in Boston to Anchor and Hog Island in SF, we love us a great oyster bar, The Oyster Bar in LR is now tops for us!!

Started off with some appetizers fried calamari, and 1 dozen raw oysters. We all got the fried baskets. Those oysters were very large they were the best tasting oysters that I could remember they just slid right down. Only down fall was it was extremely loud in there. Don't expect to have a conversation that u need hear

The space looks and feels a lot better after remodeling, but the noise was earsplitting. After shouting across the table at my mates and straining to hear, my voice was hoarse and my throat sore. I also felt ashamed and embarrassed as the yelling overshadowed the legendary classical musicians who were playing, and there was no applause except from my table. The service was okay although they made a mistake on my tab and forgot part of my husband's food. The Thai salad was a lot of probably bagged chopped cabbage with a few other things on top. I don't wish this place any ill will, but I did want to warn any Yelpers to visit other musical venues for better food and entertainment.

We have frequented the OB for years- before the new atmosphere and renovations up to today. We have always enjoyed our experience until this afternoon. We will not be back, which is bothersome, since we love the atmosphere and food. Today, my husband and I were seated at the bar in the main eating area when a roach fell from the ceiling onto my husband's shoulder. It jumped off of his shoulder onto the floor and scurried away. we immediately lost our appetite and tabbed out and left. I can't eat in an establishment that has roaches falling from the ceiling.

Food and service is always fantastic! Oysters are the freshest that you will find anywhere in town! Parking is minimal. So carpool!

It was the first time to go there since they remodeled. The seating hostess did not want to seat us. There was no one else there to seat. We ask to sit outside and she acted like she did not hear us. Then about 10 mins later after standing there she tried to sit us in the main room with all the noise. We ask again to sit outside. She told us to wait upfront. Then 15 mins later she still did not seat us. We left and I think we still would have been waiting!! Strange place!!

I want to know why all the servers put their naked azz hands in the jars to get the lemon, oranges, mint, ect...? NASTY, on several visits I have watched them go get drinks and put the hands in the jars with no gloves. No wonder why people have sore throats and stomach bugs. They are nasty.

We had such a great time! The service was fantastic! We went on a Tuesday night, there was live entertainment, and smiles all around. The food was good, if a bit pricey. The only complaint I had? No pricing on their specialty cards. But we'll be back.
