Restaurantji's Lowell picks for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“Tacos and burritos are slammin', lots of protein choices and everything tastes very fresh. That saying something eating from a food truck in a lube-shop parking lot.Everyone I've brought has been more than pleased with their food, esp the barbacoa, carne asada, and carnitas dishes. The tacos and tostadas are great, but my faves are the fully dressed burritos.Pro-tip--call ahead; this ain't fast food. Just great food worth the phone call.“
“The grilled chicken quesadilla and al pastor quesadilla were phenomenal! Probably the best quesadillas I've ever had. Also recommend the red spicy salsa with it. Really tasty. They have a green sauce as well, but I wasn't as big of a fan of that one.Parking: Gravel lot“
“One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in NW Arkansas was the Acambaro in Springdale. We were disappointed when it closed a few years ago. When heading to Lowell, we discovered this Acambaro and it did not disappoint. The service was great, the spicy version of salsa was perfect, and the lunch specials that we ordered were delicious. I definitely will be back every time I am in that area.“
“Great little shop with awesome food! Everything is made in-house, and the owners are super nice. They also are active in raising funds for community schools, so definitely go out and support these folks!Pictured is the perfectly cooked, juicy, tri-tip cowboy burger and the chili beans. ?“
