Great food and great service! Homemade chicken n dumplings, really good. Burger, good but homemade onion rings, as good as any I ever had!! Will definitely come here again.

Coming through town are here because of reviews. Had simple omelets they were greasy and toast soaked in butter. Not good to us. Server was good and parking was easy. For the price, prob should not have expected more.

Great blue plate specials and excellent hubcap burgers. They do strongly prefer cash, but for such good food and great waitstaff its worth the trip to the ATM.

Great family and service provided by them. Hired server is why I will never go back. Really rude and ignorant to what guest service should be. Her phone service is even more rude. I would love to dine there again but not taking the chance she will be my server or answer the phone for pick up order.

Actually, I am visiting this area for a few days on business and was looking for another restaurant that was purported to be in the area. It was closed and I ran across this one on the way back to my motel. I decided to try it out. and I am soo glad I did. I tried the Chicken Dumplings. It was very good. Then I was pointed to a fresh Strawberry Pie which took no further twisting of my arm to try. Wow - super delicious. Maybe it's a good thing I don't live here as I would need to buy a new bigger wardrobe. Super friendly staff at a very decent rate. Next time through I will be back! My only negative of the visit is that I prefer real butter - and maybe they had some but I didnt ask so that is my bad. The good news is that the corn bread that they served me was so good that it really didn't need it.

Had really high hopes of the burger I’ve heard about however they are “prefered cash” and I like most don’t keep cash on me and inconvenient to go to an atm then go get your food. Maybe one day they’ll take some other payment then cash and we’ll get to give it a retry.
