Ate at Lodge restaurant at Mountain Harbor near Mt. Ida for breakfast. We both had omelettes with hash browns and rye toast. Great toast and they gave us real butter to put on it. My omelette was vegetarian with lots of veggies and my own choice of cheese. I chose mozzarella.A 30 minute drive from Hot Springs but a nice view of the lake and we walked Joplin Campground for fun afterwards.Only 30.00 plus tip, and we took food to go. Where else do you get salt and pepper that you grind yourself at the table?Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We will return!

Over $21 for a cafeteria or hospital quality sandwich and bad limp under cooked fries. For that price, I'd expect a decent serving size and a little effort actually put in making it. The people at the front desk were great! The meal really disappointing, worth only maybe $12. See pics,

I left voice mails for a week to get Thanksgiving reservations. No one would call me back. I finally tried one last time and was told the last reservations were taken that morning. Very poor customer service.

Been coming here since birth. Came to visit for a few days and decided to run up to the lodge to go to their amazing salad bar. A couple in front of us walked in with a service dog and right when they walked in the older lady, who’s name i believe is janice, was acting put out with a service dog that clearly was no problem and was just there as a well trained and calm dog. Her exact words were “ Idk we have people eating.” Furthermore offered to put the dog in the back room also believed to be the office. She has to be idiot knowing service dogs stay by the person they are there to take need of. This place shouldn’t be treating kind customers coming to enjoy a meal not bothering others the way they did tonight . Do better mountain harbor lodge.

Very pleasant experience. Had breakfast on a weekday. Service was fast and friendly. It took a while to get our orders, but everything was as ordered and hot. Will be back to try their lunches.

On the way back from Mount Magazine to Dallas we decided to stop in here for lunch. It wasn’t what we were expecting, but still turned out great. It’s small and it was very crowded but were able to be seated quickly. The food was good and we loved the wam brownie and ice cream for dessert!

It was delicious! Everything we got was great! Fried pickles, fried shrimp, chicken tenders and egg drop soup was the best I have had. Most people can share a plate. Can’t wait to go back!

Horrible service. Only 5 tables had customers and there were 4 waitresses, so service should not have been a problem. Had to ask multiple times for refills, never received part of the meal even after a reminder. Breakfast for 4 was $70. Should have known something was wrong when the place was basically empty during the middle of breakfast rush on a holiday weekend. Do not recommend. Food wasn’t horrible… but crazy expensive for below acceptable service. .

Nice place to eat. Some of the best grilled salmon with lemon caper sauce that I have had.

We came here yesterday morning for breakfast before our crystal digging adventure. Our server was WONDERFUL and very sweet. I got the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes with bacon while my partner got the three cheese omelette with hash browns and toast. The pancakes were delicious but if you're someone who doesn't have that much of a sweet tooth just get regular pancakes and skip the chocolate chips, Their pancake batter seems to be overall sweeter than typical pancake batter mix and adding the chips was just too much for me personally but they were still so so so good. My partner's three cheese omelette was absolutely nothing to joke about though! I'm typically weary about restaurant/hotel eggs bc they're usually watery fake eggs; BUT NOT THESE!!!! The eggs were cooked to perfection no watery mess left behind and they absolutely didn't skimp on any of the three cheeses to the point they were flowing out of his omelette. The cook and serving staff absolutely know what they're doing and we look forward to eating there again the next time we pass through or come back for another rock dig.
