Hushpuppies were oil soaked on the outer third of crust...4* on atmosphere due to sticky tabletops, lack of sugar substitute on the tables and secondary dinning hall's restroom was in need of cleaning. The soap dispenser was off the wall and not in working order. (How do employees wash their hands before returning to work?)Shrimp was good as always. Fried catfish was delicious as we've come to expect.“

I ordered the cajun pasta with shrimp and it was phenomenal, my friend ordered the fish tacos and said they were her favorite. We sat out on the patio and our server was quick and responsive to refills.“
“I've been here twice. Once for a Christmas party and the latest for dinner a group of 3. Had the fried alligator and then pasta. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I ventured off the path and ordered an old fashion. I wish I hadn't. I knew it was going to be bad just based on appearance. Had the bartender add a couple additional shots of bourbon. Better...not great. Stick with the beer. Sat out on the enclosed patio. This is a nice place, give it a try.“

“We really enjoyed this seafood restaurant! The catfish, shrimp and the gator poor boy were delicious. We definitely recommend Flying Fish. The decor is so interesting with walls of fish mounted and old tackle boxes as well as pictures of people with their catches. I loved the saying on the back of one of the managers that said, “We catch and release, in real hot grease.” Great service and the lady that was cleaning tables was amazing! She was running around cleaning up more quickly than I’ve ever seen anywhere!“
“Very yummy! Grilled redfish Pontchartrain was awesome. Salad was lackluster, but I guess you're not coming here for the salad :) Would come back and try more things for sure! Bathrooms were a little dirty but this also isn't a fine dining establishment either. Overall good food and good service - would recommend.“

(Doesn't look like cornbread because it's smothered in flavors. The shrimp n grits is very rich, creamy and heavy. The was the small portion, I couldn't imagine the large. Not pictures was the fried gator bites which were also excellent.“

“I'm from Lousiana and it is hard to find really good cajun food or anything close to it. One thing we had not found was great poboys until now. The bread is very good and makes it a poboy. I had the fried oyster poboy and it was the most cleanest tasting and well seasoned oyster poboy I've had in years including some places in South Louisiana. The lettuce is finly shredded and makes it easier to eat without making a complete mess. The fries were very good as well. We had a large group of 6 during lunch rush and it took a few minutes to get the orders out but well worth it. Everyone in our group including 4 others from Lousiana all had no complaints and only praise. You order at the counter next to the kitchen and take a seat while it's being prepared. We just moved our office nearby and we will definitely be back again to try some more dishes.Parking: Large shared parking for shopping center but even during lunch rush there are spots opening up. You just may have to walk a few rows to get to the door.“
