Sits among the greats of local Mexican spots. Amazing price per value without sacrificing quality and a solid reputation around town. Definitely have only had good food.

this used to be one of my favorites. however, two times in a row, i ordered nachos and paid for all the extras. get home with it and its a plate of chips with dried left over fajita meat and nothing else. next time i stopped in to order, so i could check it before i leave, and my order was brought to the cashier. others were waiting so i didnt know for sure if it was mine so i continued to wait. the cashier was on the phone the whole time, the other lady was seated with a customer, obviously a friend, and did nothing as well. the other was a girl about 14 years old serving the tables. after 15 minutes i asked if it was my food and she said yes. i said its been there too long and its now cold and soggy. the young girl laughed. the other two never got off the phone or ended their personal conversation. mistakes happen but the laugh and attitude i got was deliberate. never again.

I hate that this place will not open back up for dine in. I love the nachos from here, but if you do take out (only option) by the time you get it home ? or even down the road, it’s soggy. The punch is the best drink around, but they haven’t made it since March due to covid (I don’t understand that). I guess I need to forget this place and move on.

Reviewed September 22, 2018 Health Score 96 out of 100Good food at La Casa RealFrom the outside this place looks a little rough. On the inside it is a small clean little restaurant that cranks out some good authentic Mexican food. They have a great lunch menu and good prices. The meal comes with chips and salsa. The green salsa is a spicy green chili cilantro. Pleasant taste with heat! We had the enchiladas verdes (chicken and beef), both good. Always order a chili toreado to complement your meal!We were passing through on I-40 and looked at TripAdvisor for recommendations. This place is just north of the highway on JFK Blvd. It has easy access, good food and fast service.Note: This review and photos were originally posted on Tripadvisor by Spike S.

I hadn't looked on line to see if there was dine in or not, but there wasn't, and it wasn't a problem. I ordered at the counter and they brought it to my car when ready, probably less than 10 minutes. The food was as great as always. The small cheese dip was plentiful, more than I could eat alone, with my meal.

This family-owned restaurant serves AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. It is all made from fresh ingredients. Any item on the menu I guarantee will be the best you have encountered in the entire state. I agree with with the Doc, come to Park Hill and be pleasantly surprised.

I am picky, but this family-owned restaurant serves up authentic Mexican cuisine with not only a southern Mexican influence but bits of Californian Mexican nuances. My husband and I pick-up food 3-5 times weekly because all food is freshly made like the homemade tortillas or the to-die for guacamole. Even the hamburgers with a Spanish twist are succulent. So those who live in NLR and especially Park Hill, you MUST try this restaurant because you will not be disappointed. Currently, they do not offer dine-in due to the pandemic.
