I haven't had the pleasure of eating here just yet, but I'm giving them 5 stars because of the energy they give off. I absolutely love these girls man the food is ready 97% of the time and all the customers love it. They make little rock cool and they are a great addition to the city. Good job ladies.

I ordered the brioche French toast with cheese scrambled eggs and bacon I paid about $13 the flavor was delicious the portions were ok if you plan on sharing you will be hungry again soon I just would've liked to have one more French toast the wait was about 30 min and the parking is a little hard getting it once you've gotten inParking: Limited spots

I just ordered and picked up the Vegan Croissant French Toast made with Just Egg (scrambled), plant based sausage, and La Boulangerie croissant French toast. Omg!!!!! It was amazing!!! I love plant based food and the flavors tasted throughout each bite was truly wonderful. I don’t have to look elsewhere for food when trying to stay away from real meat. I highly recommend you trying Southern Heaux!

I cannot recommend this food experience anymore, than five stars but if i could it would be an 11! The food was amazing but the service was better. The chefs on the truck really know how to cook and i had a fun time calling myself a bougie sweet heaux. Fantastic!

I promise you, the food is good--good like homemade cooking make you feel warm on the inside good--the customer service is , and the whole business concept is clever. I am proud of this place and recommend you visit ASAP! From the moment they greet you "Welcome to Southern Heaux, what kind of Heaux are you today?" to the moment you get your mouthwatering food, it's clear that this business owner has thought about the customer experience you're going to have and that makes all the difference in the world. It feels good to be thought about as a customer and it feels good to put in your order at Southern Heaux. It's just a food truck but they're definitely putting out food worthy of being in a restaurant. My mom came to visit me from out of town and this was the only place we took her to eat that actually made her light up with joy while eating. The menu is a fun mix of southern comfort classics & some new school takes--including an entire plant based menu. Some notable favorites are the Heaux cakes (both vegan and non) but trust me you're gonna wanna be a fancy Heaux and get 'em with the peach cobbler . I'd also say the French toast, the salmon cakes, and the vegan biscuits. I'm getting hungry just thinking about how good this place is. I promise you they won't let you down.

These fabulous ladies catered a brunch I attended, and they were absolutely amazing. The food was impeccable- everything tasted great, perfect seasoning, all around yummy. Their service was exceptional. They made sure everyone was fed and had beverages. They worked the crowd so well, and they even had some fun with us. I’d highly recommend them for your brunch catering needs. I can’t wait to go by their food truck this week!

And yall know I LOVE good food and I love a local business and a black owned business.Yall want all 3?!?!Please please PLEASE go to Southern Heaux - Food Truck and get you some breakfast!They catered a party to today and it was luscious!!!I will Def be sliding through for some breakfast soon because I hear they have salmon croquettes, one of my absolute favorite meals!Today, I had waffles, chicken wings, bacon, and eggs and it was all ELITE. The shrimp and grits looked amazing but at the risk of my Southern card being revoked, I don't like grits. Almost looked good enough for me to forget I don't mess with grits though!!For real though, the food was everything and the owner and her two girls were sweet, the customer service was servicing, the vibes were immaculate, it was the real deal.Yall go get some of that!

If you're looking for something to-go or to order from Doordash I advise against. Everything was soggy after a 5 min drive. The order was pushed back twice. The eggs were rubbery, and anything bread related had sweated itself into sogginess. I had checked reviews and really expected more. Even some salt and pepper goes a little ways. I think the foodhas great potential but the orders that are made To-go could be altered to provide freshness and flavor.
