After the service we got yesterday, you need some new servers that aren't rude and hateful! I love this place and come here almost every week! Yesterday I accompanied some older people that were getting together with their high school classmates. Some are physically disabled and we were practically pushed out the door while trying to get them all their walkers and gather their belongings while the little hateful hostess screamed at them..."can y'all move we need to seat these people" and began moving chairs around almost knocking down one of the women. I wish she would have cause it was all I could do to not pounce on her. I'm so disappointed in how they were treated. I won't be back for a long time. I'm sure you won't miss my business but I don't care. I'm saying my peace. You need to bring a few of those girls down to earth and learn how to treat your customers before others walk out for good too!

I give this restaurant 4 stars because they really do have good food and pretty good service. The main complaint I really have is that I paid $8+tax for fried mushrooms as an appetizer and received 8 tiny fried mushrooms to share with my husband. If they had been bigger mushrooms I could have understood the price, but these mushrooms were not much bigger than a piece of fried okra. I will never order that appetizer again as it cost almost as much as my meal and I barely got anything. I am posting a photo of 6 out of 8 fried mushrooms we received.
We come to town once a year, and always look forward to eating at Ironhorse during our stay!

The food was amazing! If you haven't tried the pork steak you are missing out. It was so tender you didn't need a knife to cut it. I think I could eat that for the rest of my life and never get sick of it.

Had the fish plate, although it wasn't catfish, it was very good.
First time here, and we loved it! We ordered fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, and a 5 piece catfish dinner to share. The catfish was absolutely perfect! Everything else was delicious too! We came with a party of 20 or so ( WITHOUT a reservation) & they were so kind and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Great food friendly staff just great place to eat.
The service is lacking both times I've had a meal. The food has been overcooked, generic / unsatisfying flavor, and not of the quality you would expect for a place so many eat at. I'm really not sure of the appeal. I would not recommend this establishment at this time. However each to their own. Maybe your experiences will be different.
We were blown away by how good the food was. I've never had a pork steak before, but I can't wait to come back and have another.If we lived in the area, this would we a weekly event, but 700 miles is a long way to go for dinner.
