Great chicken sandwich and even better sweet tea. Went on a Saturday night, at the same time as a local prom or dance. It was packed but we still got seats rather quickly.

Our hamburger patties were all over done and dry but otherwise the hamburgers were good. Sweet potato fries were delicious! Also the fried pickles were very good! The wait staff the evening we were there was not friendly. Seemed like they all needed some cheering up.

We took a trip to Jonesboro to watch the eclipse. We decided to try out Skinny J's for dinner. We are glad we did. Not only was the food great, but the service was amazing. John was our server, and even though we asked for several items to go with our dinner John was more than happy to accommodate us. Thanks to John, the once (twice since we watched the eclipse in 2017) in a lifetime experience was made even better, John made our amazing day even better.

If you ever find yourself in Paragould Arkansas and looking for a meal, you have to go here!! The food is tip notch and the atmosphere is perfect for a great evening!!! Food is 5star bar no doubt!!! And the service is your typical small town super friendly and I can't say enough good things about Brandy!!! She did a heck of job keeping our buckets of beer coming and drinks full.I would definitely go back when in town!!!Kid-friendliness: Our groups kids are between 12 and 16... I am sure younger ones would be good to here too!!

Big Herb The Destroyer

Let Big Herb walk you through his experience here. Been hearing mixed reviews and wanted to see for myself. The staff was courteous and professional. Waitress was the best part of the experience. It was 4:30 PM and Big Herb wanted a ribeye. His heart was shattered when he was told that there were none available until 5:00 as they were being cut. Now immediately I was thinking that if they are slicing them, just pop one my way. The menu said baked taters had to wait to 5:00. Odd one but whatever. Big Herb opted for the filet. I wanted crab cakes but they didn't have those. Went with the reuben rolls and they were very good. Had Ceasar side salad and Brussels sprouts. Not too bad. I feel this place is caught somewhere between bar food and trying to achieve a five star rating. There's good things here but plenty of work ahead of them in the kitchen. The wife ordered a burger and fries. She had cheese sticks as appetizer. Cheese sticks are just ordinary like you buy at grocery store and nothing special. Her fries were spiral cut and she said they had an off flavor about them. I immediately noticed her burger. I was expecting a hand pattied beauty but instead, she received a frozen patty that looked over cooked. She said it was very dry and the bun was thick so it made for a struggle. The prices are as others report and way too high. I can get a quality filet at any steak house for 2/3 the price. Not a bad place but we will mostly likely stick to other options.

My burger was nasty dry no flavor my fries was homemade had funny taste couldn't eat but 2 and my mozzarella sticks was from box you get at walmart. My husband wanted ribeye couldn't get cause they was cutting them what the heck if they cutting it throw one on grill. Wanted crab cakes out. Lady wanted baked potato next to me she got told only after 5 and its 10 mins till 5 really. I was not impressed at all. 110 bucks later I walked out hungry everyone is different my opinion.
