Ivan's Old Time Meat Shop

We come from western Kansas beef country and drive 9 hours to our 2nd home on Beaver Lake. We made Ivan’s our GoTo place for quality meats. We had one opportunity to try their jalepeño pineapple brats and found them to be the best brats we’ve ever had. Since then, they were ALWAYS SOLD OUT! I bought two ribeye steaks there and I could immediately see the difference between the meat displayed at Ivan's compared to standard supermarkets. Not only were they premium cuts, they were beautifully trimmed and grilled up tender and oh so juicy. I was welcomed by the employees working there and allowed to take my time selecting my purchase. BEST SMOKED TURKEY BREAST EVER. A new lifelong customer now because my family during thanksgiving were raving over how delicious the Turkey was, some even said it was the best they've ever had and converted those who previously preferred ham. Super juicy, flavorful, and worth every penny. I'm thinking that Ivan's has been NWA's well kept secret and obviously for a good reason, I was hesitant leaving a review just because I wanted to keep our glorious Turkey a secret for ourselves...read full review
