Even better than the last time I was here! Delicious burrito, chips, and salsa, with friendly service!

Food was good. Service was fast. I had the super burrito, it was soft. They have many condiments that you can pack yourself at the bar. Lots of indoor seating if you have a large group.

The service was good and so was chips/slasa. The food however wasn't that great. We ordered the posole, shrimp tostada, and a Al pastor crispy taco The posole was very bland, the meat however tasted good but how could you go wrong with boiled soft meat? The shrimp tostada was not good at all. I took 2 bites and left it alone. It was also very bland , no flavor .. even adding hot sauce didn't help. The only decent thing was the crispy taco, was messy but good.

A hidden gem! The food is soooo good, the staff is amazing, and such a great deal on great beer. They have Knee Deep on draft, along with a few other local favorites. A very authentic place with food that is spiced well and not greasy. Also the flan is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and go here.

I thought this place was gross. Had the chicken taco plate. Beans were gross so was the rice and the salsa looked old. Disappointed

Excellent food and service! The fried tilapia was wonderful, I ate the whole thing! My husband had the shrimp/octopus ceviche, also just as wonderful. Will definitely go back!

I've had a hard time finding really good taquerias between Roseville and Auburn in the few weeks I've been up here. I haven't tried a lot, but enough to be disappointed. This was the best of the bunch. Customer service - really friendly staff at the counter greeted me with a smile and happy to talk. Ordered a super burrito without rice and asked him what his favorite meat they serve was, which he said al pastor. Also got a regular taco with his second favorite, carnitas Salsa bar - lots of options, 3 kinds of reds, a greed avocado one, a white sourcreamish one, pickled onions, peppers, limes, etc. Better than the rest of the ones ive had in the area and pretty flavorful. Chips did not have the heat lamp on, but wasn't an issue, they were still fairly fresh. Super burrito - good size despite no rice, lots of meat, and good flavor. Lots of seasoning on the al pastor, not too sweet, good size pieces. It's hard to get great al pastor without the trompo, very few places have it, but this one was tasty and would get again. I wish the tortilla had a bit of a char on the outside of the tortilla. Taco - Lots of carnitas, slightly juicy with a bit of char like you would hope for. Solid taco If I was in the area again, I would go back.

This place is exactly what I was looking for one coming to Auburn for lunch. It is spacious and clean inside. Not shady (you never know right?!) They have an amazing assortment of dishes and even pictures of the food on the wall for us white folks who don't speak a lick of Spanish. The food is authentic Mexican cuisine. The guy at the counter was super nice, and handsome! everyone working there was super nice. They have a very large condiment bar and a large assortment of salsas/ radishes / you know the bit.. and free chips. They come out with your food very quickly, so you don't really have time to eat too many chips. Which is fine with me. Family friendly! 10 out of 10 would visit again. I wish we had one of these in my town!

Hands down the best taqueria in the area! We were blown away by the wide selection of menu offerings, the flavors, and the presentation -- a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The Molcajete (literally meaning mortar and pestle) Carne, served in a sizzling stone bowl, can be described as a deliciously generous heap of shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, chorizo and rice, all topped by avocado and green sauce. Needless to say we couldn't finish it in one sitting. The Vuelve a La Vida seafood cocktail was also delightful with a wonderful soup base. One of the best Mexican dishes I've had. Service is friendly and efficient, and the salsa bar is awesome! Tables are clean as well. So glad we found this place!

Love, love the food; we have been eating here for years. The best Mexican restaurant in town. However; they recently stopped making their homemade horchata and only have the powdered junk. Please, please bring the homemade horchata back. Good horchata is very hard to find in this area. Lunch is just not the same without horchata!!
