Not your chain Tex-Mex food! We stopped in after riding all day, and from the collection of masks on the walls to the Mezcal I had for dessert, it was simply outstanding. The food was simply and elegantly prepared and presented, with subtle and delicious spices rolling through the entire meal. (try the chilaquiles!)In a town with dozens of taquerias and higher end Mexican restaurants, you have to be something special to stand out. I think Yeyo's makes that cut!Highly recommended.
First and foremost I have to say the food is phenomenal. Loved everything we had. However I give a 4 star review because I wish there was more information on the drink side. Being a mezcaleria, it would have been nice to know more information about the mezcals offered. If you were to make a spirit master copy and include some information about the flavor profiles and selling points on the different mezcals it would really elevate the experience. The ribeye was amazing and huge! Perfectly cooked and came with a charcuterie board of sides. The service was attentive and fast. The patio is dog friendly. My only gripe would be the patio furniture seemed like a smorgasbord of uncomfortable chairs. Luckily it was empty and I was able to pick the most comfortable looking one. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
