This place has been mostly good over the years. It's doing great currently.I was in on a day when they were packed due to graduation. They were handling it well. I placed some takeout orders at the bar and had a beer as I waited. J.D., the bartender, was one busy man. But you can recognize a pro. He had it all under control.It was particularly impressive because I'd gone to Texas Roadhouse a few minutes before....and walked out. That place is an example of how NOT to handle a busy day.Also...and this is HUGE. Colton's has, like every place, raised prices a bit. But they have not done any absurd price hikes. Their massive grilled burger combos are actually in line with the price at fast food joints. Great value.

I recommend the 8 oz filet medium rare. The mixed vegetables are okay, not much flavor. The rolls, butter, and honey that comes out early make a great appetizer.
Colton's is always amazing. The entire staff are precious and sweet. The good Lord blesses that place. Management is great too, especially Melissa...what a lady :)

The staff was welcoming and our server was great. Everything we ordered was delicious and our steaks were cooked just the way we ordered them. I really liked the rub on my NY Strip, not overpowering like some other steak places. We definitely recommend Colton's.

My daughter took me to Colton's for my birthday on February 13th 2024. I was so excited to get the ribs because they are my favorite but when the waitress came to take our order she said sorry we don't have ribs. I was so let down and when I told the waitress it was my birthday and that I was so sad that there wasn't any she laughed.!!! I told her that wasn't funny to me!!! We ordered, ate and when leaving the manager came up to me and asked if our dinner was good. I told him my story and he said well you can come back tomorrow and get some( Valentines Day). We are not people with that kind of money to go again the next day to eat out ! I just think there should be a sign on the door or the hostess could have let us know that there were no ribs before being taken to our table! I'm sure they were saving all the ribs for Valentines Day.

We've gone to Colton's for years, and before COVID, it was a great place to enjoy a steak and time with friends. Since reopening after the COVID shutdown, however, we've stopped going if we're not with a group who is meeting there for dinner.Immediately following the shutdowns, no one could reliably get consistent quality cuts of meat, but even now, in 2024, their porterhouse cuts are still thin, uneven, and something I'd expect to see at Wafflehouse or IHOP. To be fair, their other cuts of steak are more like what you would expect of a "steakhouse," but their seasoning is hit or miss. One time, there's barely any at all. The next time, it tastes like your steak was drug through a salt barrel and then thrown on the grill.The service is still good overall. This used to be my favorite place to eat in town pre-COVID. Hopefully, now that they have serious competition in town, it will be a wake-up call to management.
For those who want to debate Rolls???... let's goooo. The rolls we had were hands down better than Texas Road house rolls on their best day and I love Texas Road House. After visiting just about every steak house around this is my opinion..If you are going for great food and want a quieter dining experience . Coltens is THE place to go.
