The customer service of Floyd’s seafood is unmatched. I normally get crawfish from munsons but they cancelled my order the day of my party. Floyd’s was able to save the day and had some extra crawfish I could buy! They definitely saved the day and more knowledgeable on the crawfish. Their crawfish were nice size & good they definitely gained a new customer going forward. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dependable seafood provider.

Me and the misses were planning on grilling today so I thought it would be a good idea to call Floyd’s meat market and apparently I was wrong. The older lady that works there answered the phone and immediately got rude with me when I asked do they have any deals on chicken. She could have just said no and I would have gladly paid full price but her reply was “don’t ever call here again asking for deals I’m not giving you a deal on nothing you want a deal go to Walmart”. I don’t know what century she’s living in but that is not how you run a business nor how you talk to a paying customer. Go to Walmart is exactly what I’ll do because this “spoiled”Louisiana meat will never see a dime from us. Zero stars if I could.

I’ve bought meat off and on here for years. Mostly shrimp for boils. And I always love speaking to them. They’re always helpful and tell you how much you need if you’re clueless like me. 100% of the time they always guesstimate correctly how much I need. :)

I mostly come here for the seafood but they have some good sausages and other meat stuff too. Great selection and the staff are helpful. I've been trying the different fish and shrimp but I might try something like crab or crawfish next time.

IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT SHOP HERE .We ordered crawfish and came to pick them up and as soon as we walked in the door the lady gave us the ugliest looks So we are from Louisiana so we were just looking around so when we get to the counter We told the lady we were here for a pick up a order and she asked up our name so she goes on and on but with the most nasty attitude so I just asked her ma'am is there a problem and she openly tells me to shut up so long story short they are very racist here never spend your money with them she even stuck her middle finger up while we were driving away

I'm from California and staying in an extended stay hotel. So I decided I wanted to cook a crab boil. I went to Floyd's fish market and so happy I did. I meet the owner and she is sweet as sugar! Very helpful and I tell you we must have talk 20 minutes after I order my crab. I highly recommend this establishment. I'm definitely going back before I leave not only for the seafood but the conversation as well. Thank you so much.

If you're looking for the best family-run meat market, look no further. I called last minute to see if I could get a sack of crawfish a few weeks ago. Shockingly enough, the lovely lady on the phone said they were out but would take my number down and call me when they got word from the farmer. She called me promptly the next day as soon as they got the shipment and let me pick it up less than 24 hours later. I didn't think I'd hear back seeing that I had called 4 other places the day before. The crawfish from here would've gotten my business but it's their customer service that truly shines through and keeps me coming back!
