This place is just amazing. What a great addition for Sherwood. Keto meals on demand, lots of wonderful pastries and baked goods and a full bar to boot! The food is outstanding and the wait staff is wonderful.

Our wedding cake was perfect, tasted amazing and the price was less than what we expected! Highly recommend using them for any event

Horrible service when we did see the waitress after we had to hunt her down for more tea and lemonade. Attitude from her, but from the owner was bad enough when we were crammed in a small party room that was almost 80 degrees. He barged in past guests to turn the air up, didn't say excuse me or even an easy hello. Was promised both rooms, but they double booked a book club that morning because staff was unaware we were reserved. The new owner assured us that past Monday that they would make it work, didn't happen.

Love the place. Only complaint i would have is that they always run out of brisket. But the food and service is awesome!.

Owners of Woodland Bakery & Bistro sold hundreds of dollars in gift certificates to unsuspecting victims, just weeks before closing their doors.Shame on them!

The Bistro is out of business, but the barbecue place that took its place was delicious. HUGE burgers, good chicken and pulled sandwiches.

There's still a few kinks to work out as far as customer service goes for one gentleman, and it varies from visit to visit *shrug* some days an "A" some days far from it. I've noticed that the supply and demand factor is also slacking here lately too...I visit pretty often, and almost every time....the cupcake display is just about empty. On a positive note.....I am a DIE HARD fan of their Thursday night shrimp special, and I stick to the squash and okra for my sides, which are delicious! My advice is to rev up the cupcake making, ans make sure your customers are ALL treated the same....i legit watched one of the owners walk from table to table asking if they needee any condiments, asking if they were ok, if they needed anything else.....and in that 10minute span my child and I sat there with not ONE visit or question if we needed anything....

Please dont waste your money to buy your cake here. Eventhough you give them an example of how your cake will look like, the result will be not be the same. Paying a lot of money and its not worth it. I will try Sam's Club next time and quality might be better than the one they make, price will be cheaper. I chose this bakery at first because I thought it has good quality because of the place and where it's located at. I'm willing to pay more if quality is good but guess what?nope not good at all. I paid $180 and its not good, waste of money. Also it seems like they lack in communication. Whoever bakes it and the person receives the order dont communicate with all the orders. So the turn out will be disaster on your special day. Dont waste your time and money to go here at all. No, No, No, We will not recommend this place to our families and friends, NOT AT ALL. This will be our first and last time we will visit their place again. Sorry you just lost another customer.

I was very disappointed in my experience with Woodland Bakery. I communicated directly with the owner Lexi to place my order, but there seemed to have been a disconnect between me and her or between her and her staff because the cookies I received were not even close to what I ordered. They gave me two different designs when it was supposed to be one: 12 juvenile bees that look like they were made for a baby shower and 12 plaques. This is not what Lexi and I agreed on by any means. I didn’t expect to pay $45 for cookies I’d feel silly serving at my 12 year old daughter’s bday party, much less my 30 year old wife’s (to be fair, the plaques did look great). On top of everything else, I shared my concerns with Lexi via FB message on Saturday but never received a response. I won’t be using Woodland Bakery & Bistro again.

Very good food and friendly staff. Fried pickles are very good. Very good meal. However I wish the would have been more attentive to the lack of napkins. 1 per guest until we asked for more. Other then that I would try them again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. We have tried this restaurant twice. Once via Bite Squad And the order was completely messed up. When we contacted the owner she stated it was not her fault and was unwilling to resolve the issue. So we tried it in person, we waited an hour and a half for our food which was cold, the order was incorrect even after we had told our waiter that we were frustrated and upset for waiting so long. This is after I had asked three times for a refill, which we had to get ourselves. AND He still tried to charge us for the food that we sent back (because it was incorrect) and did not ask for a replacement because not want to have to wait another hour and a half. Also, they served half of our table 1st, the other half had to wait another 20 minutes before they got their food. However the table next to us got great service, and then after they left, the owner came in and sat there. The owner was sitting at the table next to us, and never once offered an apology or anything to help make it right! Apparently her ex-husband was our waiter, so whatever their personal issues are they are rolling over into their customer service as well. We always try to support independently owned businesses, however I cannot endorse this place again.

We had our family Holiday meal there.Good: Food was good, staff needs more training but they were attentive. When we asked for something they did provide. ie. Cranberry sauce for turkey. toThe bad: They only gave us 8 rolls for 14 people. There was only left over deserts because they were going to be closed the next few days. They would sell them to us at a discount.I would go back because the food was good, but to hold an event I would be more specific on what I expect and need!!!!

Their web site said they were open at 7 am on Saturday, so I called several days in advance, since we wanted an early lunch instead of a breakfast. I wanted to know when they started serving lunch. The person didn't know, went and asked, and came back with the news that they no longer served breakfast, but lunch would start at 10 am, so we arrived then, and the doors were locked. The employees saw us and came to the door, I explained the situation, she apologized, and said lunch would start serving at 10:30. I asked if we could come in, study the menu, and wait til 10:30. That was fine. About 5 minutes later another employee went to the door and taped up a sorry sign, that they weren't open til 11, but didn't bother to tell us. I got curious about the sign, went and read it, verified that the time had again changed. We left without ever trying the food. If they don't know any more about cooking than they know about their hours of operation, it probably wouldn't be very good anyway. One of the stupidest experiences we've ever had with a restaurant. I had to give one star just to post.
