Food was good portion was large but watch what your card is being charged if you pay with a debit. I sent someone to pick my food up for me and noticed a charge for 18.11 on my debit card. I had ordered steak 1can soda. When I called asking why I had been charged so much after several calls and lack of understanding she finally told me it was a tip. I would not have tipped almost double for picking up at the window. Will not ever pay with a debit card again here

Several of us got lunch from the foodtruck today, and it was delicious!! I had enough for two meals, which was great. I will absolutely be going back again. I had the hibachi steak, which was a good cut, no gristle, cooked as ordered. It was a very good lunch!

This place has the best fried rice and egg rolls I have ever tasted. The veggies and meats are great as well. A definite 5 star if now for one big problem... horrible service! If I could rate separately I would do 5 stars for food and 2 stars for service. I have visited 3 times and all 3 times I have had problems. At first I took it for a new places growing pains, but a year later and it's worse. For example, the last time I called in my order and was told 25 min( same time always). I arrived 45 min later because of past experience with slowness. I then paid and was told I would be called when it was ready. I was shocked it wasn't yet but stepped aside thinking it had to be about done. 15 min later I had to ask what was taking so long. It took me 5 min to get the woman working the front to decide to get the manager because I could not get her to even understand what I was asking. He finally came and I asked him how long I had to order in advance to not have to wait so long. He told me it usually takes 20-25 min....so I asked why I had been waiting over an hour. He asked my name and I then saw him pull my ticket from the bottom and put it in top and tell me I'm next...it took another 5 min. I saw several people order and get their food while I waited and I came to the conclusion while watching that the woman working the front that she puts the tickets up when you pay...so apparently calling in does not make a difference. I am not sure though because of the language barrier. It's a shame though, I'd come here on a monthly basis if the service was better. UPDATE: Had to downgrade based on 2 horrible visits in a row. The food is still amazing but I can no longer look past the service. It is consistently taking an hour for small call in orders. They always say 20 min, but if you don't want to have to stand there for a half hour you better wait an hour before showing up. Even then it's never ready. Also I am tired of the communication problems. These have been 2 different people working the counter on my last 2 visits and neither can speak English. I spent 5 min trying to get the guy today to understand I was asking for a military discount. He finally had to get someone else up there who I was finally able to get to understand what I was asking. This happens anytime you have a question about anything!! I mean seriously?? Hire someone that speaks English to at least deal with the customers! I will not be returning for quite a while. It's a shame too because the food really is quite spectacular. It's just not worth all the frustrations...

The meals at Taro Hibachi are Shogun style. All the food is great including the steak, shrimp, chicken, vegetables and fried rice. Don't forget the egg rolls! The staff is amazing & very attentive! So to enhance your experience & get your yum yum on!! The BEST for food truck take out!

Street food, I love it. Asian street food, I must have it. There was a bit of a language barrier but we muddled through and I walked out with a stir-fry that was worth starting a small war over. Listen, I'm not advocating war, but if two smallish countries wanted to say harsh words at each until one of them went crying home to their mother, then I would proudly take the winner out for hibachi.
