Won’t be using them again. Not only was my daughter’s smash cake not done on time, it was nothing like the picture I sent to them for inspo. Huge bubble in the back of the cake. Definitely rushed and NOT worth what I paid. Save yourself some time & heartache and go elsewhere.

I ordered a beautiful cake for my baby’s first birthday. Cake was beautifully decorated but was very disappointing to find out I didn’t get the flavor I ordered. I ordered a lemon raspberry cake. I ended up with a vanilla raspberry cake instead. That was very disappointing

It had been a while since I'd been in to buy cupcakes. I picked up the "death by chocolate" cupcakes. They were good, but the others I purchased, like the strawberry and peanut butter, were stale. It was hard to get the wrapper off of them they were so bad. I'd heard there were different owners. Makes me sad.

i helped them decorate a few cakes this past year. the owner is super unhelpful and unresponsive. not to mention i was never paid for the last cake i decorated for them. the manager knows nothing about anything that goes on there. i’m still owed $60 for the last cake i did for them and when i messaged the owner he never responded. don’t use this bakery. anywhere else would be a better option. the kitchen is also disgusting and unorganized. they don’t care about their customers.

I ordered 12 lemon squares to be picked up the next day and also bought 4 cupcakes my mother was so excited to eat the cupcake to only be very disappointed they we're awful. When I returned the next day at 1 pm to pick up my lemon squares I was told I still had to wait they were not finished yet the owner didn't have them cut and no powdered sugar, after waiting 30 min, I had to call the owner to the front of the store I told him I have a knife at home just give the lemon squares to me and I'll finish them he threw them in a box and I left . I got them home and once I opened them my mother had a fit they were horrible looked nothing like lemon squares. I immediately returned them to the store, employee didn't know how to refund my money , so I call the owner to get my refund and he was very rude told me that some customers get refunds but because he didn't like my attitude I wasn't getting my money back. I would never recommend this bakery to anyone. I also am contacting the BBB to put in a complaint as well.

First of all let me say it is not the same since it is under new management and ownership. I literally spent thousands of dollars on cakes over the years at the original sweet boutique and I was never turned down on a last minute birthday cake for someone or a shower cake because I think having cake makes a celebration better and they always had dessert cakes they could transform and always would even if I needed it the same day. I absolutely loved them love the service and loved the cake. Last year on my son's birthday I spent twice what I had spent just sixpence before on a cake that was even bigger than the one I was buying. It was so expensive that I nearly canceled my order but ended up going ahead and ordering it just to have them messed the order up they finally gave me some free cupcakes which really didn't do much because it was more of the way I was treated. Today I called To order a last-minute birthday cake and was told they had too many wholesale orders to make a dessert cake with no decoration. I'm very sad to say I will not call them next time for any reason.

It is a little pricey for a bakery, but you get what you pay for! The cupcakes are just heavenly!! The cookies are amazing, and I'll never buy a birthday cake anywhere else!! Best cupcakes in the River Valley!

It’s a sad day. I bought cupcakes for a celebration and was so disappointed. The magical white on white cupcake has lost it’s magic. What once melted in your mouth with a burst of sweetness now requires chewing and tastes like everyone else’s cupcake with a yellow hue. The other cupcakes were not what I was used to in appearance. This has been my absolute favorite place but certainly not now. I will miss you Sweet Boutique.
Super disappointed in how this place handled a problem. We ordered a cake for my cousins birthday. We chose a lemon raspberry cake with a sublime picture. We got the cake and the sublime picture was awesome but the cake was just normal vanilla. Mind you vanilla is the flavor that my cousin dislikes with a passion. So the birthday boy didn’t even get to eat his own cake… called to try and get some form of compensation because the cake wasn’t what we ordered. We were met with “well we can give you $10 off your next cake because the cake and filling weren’t right but we should be happy we got a cake.” 10/10 won’t ever use them again. It’s sad because I would go here a couple times a year. What’s the point in even getting someone’s order on what they want if you aren’t going to deliver it??

man im super disappointed to leave this review. i was super upset with this entire a situation. my old lady and kid went and ordered this cake from them for my birthday this month. the cake was not the right cake, not the right flavor. nothing about it was right. it took us 2 weeks to get ahold of someone to talk to when we finally did they offered a 10 discount on our next purchase. we have ordered several cakes and items from them throughout the years, but i will not order another after the hastle, keep the 10 dollars bud obviously you need it. theres plenty of fancy cake places to choose from i recommend yall choose one of those if you want to get what you actually order

If I could I wouldn't leave them any stars, I ordered 2 cakes that weren't cheap by the way a month ago I paid for one and today I'm going back to pay for the other and they tell me that they won't be able to make the cakes for me because they don't have a cake decorator, and they didn't even call me in time if I hadn't gone to pay for the cakes they wouldn't tell me, this was very important for my sister and her daughter. The woman who attended me had a mocking smile, she didn't even apologize.

Couple weeks ago I went in to order 2 cakes got my order paid for one of the cakes about 2 weeks ago I went in to pay for my second cake and they are telling they won't be able to do my cakes because they won't have a decorator for the weekend. I believe they should of atleast told me when I went to pay the first time. First time ordering from them and it will be my last make sure when you order they have atleast the staff when you want your cake
