I used to live near a Dickies pre-Covid and went frequently, but boy have things changed. The cost has really gone up.My boyfriend and I came in for lunch at noon on a Saturday. The place was empty and I thought they had just opened because the drink and condiment section looking like it was missing some things. Surprisingly they had already been open for an hour.We ordered 2 two-meat plates ($18 ea), 2 drinks ($4 ea) and 4 extra cups of sauce ($0.75 EACH). Imagine my surprise when the bill came out to $50. Yes, $50 for LUNCH for 2 people at a casual dining establishment. When I got the receipt I was surprised to see that they charge for sauce now. The employee asked us "Which sauces would you like?". I thought they just kept them behind the counter (like at McDonald's) or they haven't put them out onto the condiment table yet. He never mentioned that our plate automatically comes with 1 original sauce, or that they now charge for them or that they're almost a dollar each. I also wanted to switch out my Texas toast for cornbread, but they didn't have any defrosted (thank goodness I wasn't able to since that would have been an upcharge too!).Our food arrived quickly, but was cold. It arrived to us at room temperature, but with the cold sauce on top, it tasted like it just came out of the fridge. Things just continued to get worse. They brought out the wrong kielbasa for my boyfriend AND tried to short us a sauce (that we paid for!). The employee said he "didn't like the look of the other [jalepeno] sausage" so he brought out the normal kielbasa for him. Meaning they knew it was not what we ordered but tried to pass it to us anyway. After bringing up everything to his attention, he cooked us a new jalepeno sausage, brought an extra sauce (on top of the one we paid for) and gave us a frozen cornbread in apology.I appreciate him trying to make it right at the end, but honestly there's nothing that could save this experience for me. I felt like the employees behavior overall was sloppy and the price was prohibitively expensive. If my choice is Dickeys BBQ or a nice sit down restaurant, I'm definitely going to choose the restaurant every time.

I’ve been twice before everything was great. But this last time it was a waste of money. I paid 20 bucks for a two meat platter and received less than a cup of dry bland brisket and two ribs, one of them was merely a bone with no meat on it. The green beans are typically tasty but this time they were extremely salty, mushy and overcooked.I would hope that this was just a one-off experience but I’m not sure I’m willing to try it again after this more experience.

This place is so good and I don’t usually see a lot of people here which is surprising. This is quality bbq(pulled pork sandwich is my favorite, make sure to eat with coleslaw on top of sandwich). I believe the service person was named Bolina, she was great. They have some good vibes that remind me of being in the Midwest.A slice of Midwest bliss.

Ribs, sausage, and pulled pork was great. Chicken was dry and I think the green beans had way too mush salt. They run out of a lot meats and don’t keep track. After people made the order they came up to them 20 minutes later and told them they are out. It took about 45 minutes to get our order. It was all correct and hot.

Completed an Uber order which was $53.76 before tip. The food arrived, each with missing sides, sauces and drink.I returned to the store to correct the issues. The order was placed at 6pm. The food arrived at 7pm. I got to store at 7:25pm. I asked for them to remake the order and provide the missing items. I was told they were out of ribs at 7:25pm and the store closes at 9pm. I left the food at the counter. There was a homeless person sitting in the store. They took the bag of food which I had opened and touched and gave it to the man which I think is unsanitary and against company policy. When they saw me coming back into store to take photos they went back to the man and retrieved the food.

My ribs were sooooo salty my tongue hurt after. My okra was under cooked and slimy. They forgot to bag my side of Mac and cheese.

This location isn’t open- went here for lunch because the Google listing still says open. Super annoying on a time limited lunch

My pork ribs were cold and the staff told me they couldn’t be reheated, it seem like the ribs were from a previous day. First time it happens.
