Ignore by the workers. They keep saying waiting for foods but actually foods already done but they just don't package.

Food was very good, they seemed to be out of some food items. Service was a little slow but service was good when received.

This place had all the potential to be great. However the sushi is subpar and the service is awful. If it weren't for the AYCE sushi I don't think anyone would come here. I've given it 4 chances and the staff just isn't great.

Used to like coming here with my brother but recently the service and atmosphere has been horrible. Always understaffed, long wait times, by the time the sushi comes to you it's already warm and server rarely comes around anymore. Currently standing to be seated after being told the wait time was 20-25 min over 30 minutes ago. Update: I got a call literally an hour AFTER saying they were ready to seat us, I had already left to a different restaurant

The food was not good we had high expectations because they have this chain in Seattle and it's always best quality. The food here was not very up to standard. The salmon nigiri was shredded and had bone in it. Everything just has a lot of rice. The new crawfish roll was super bland and had no flavor. We asked the waitress if the crawfish was supposed to be cold and she said yes because it's raw. The crawfish wasn't raw and then we said the crawfish is cooked and she said the chicken? I don't think she knew much about the roll or about sushi in general. Over all would not come back.

Super friendly staff in a very clean establishment (ignoring the rest rooms), but the sushi was mediocre. The rice was well-cooked, but flavorless. None of the spicy items (spicy tuna, crab, shrimp, etc. or spicy sauce) had any heat. Rolls could have been packed a little tighter to hold together more, but the issue could have been the rice's lack of sugar/vinegar, I suppose. It looked great, but I've had better sushi from a gas station.Music selection was... interesting, too.

Ordered 3 items for pick up and paid online when placing the order. Got in my car and checked the bag and found 1 item was missing. Went in and told the host and she replied “oh we’re out of that”. I guess they will let you pay for items knowing they didn’t include it in your order. It’s on you to make sure you’re getting what you paid for. I had to ask for them to sub in something else and wait for it.

We were so excited to check out this modern twist on sushi. We walked in and the atmosphere was great. We sat down at the happy hour sushi bar and were greeted by a welcoming sushi chef. Then the food came out and I'm so sad to say it went downhill from there. We won't go back. The atmosphere was great but the food left a lot to be desired.

I was limited on time and wish I went when I had more. The way they do the all you can eat is one item at a time and when I went it was pretty much one chef for everyone at the bar and it was a full bar. It took about 30 min to get my first item which was 3 nigiri and then about another 30 to get one roll. I was limited on time but I think the only ordering one item at a time works better if you have multiple chefs for the bar. Maybe it was just the day and time I went. The nigiri I felt had too much rice. The seared tuna was good otherwise. I was only able to get one roll and it was the trump roll. It was really good and flavorful! When going back, because I want to try more, I probably will stick only to the rolls.

Clean restaurant and classic rolls at great prices. Try the lunch special. The sushi class is fun too!

We moved to AZ from WA so we’ve loved trappers a long time! We stopped by the Avondale location before spring training and got the same amazing experience we always do! I forget the two sushi chef’s names but they were so fun and made amazing rolls during our AYCE. Will definitely be back!
