The environment was peaceful and intimate. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the seafood trio which consisted of Lobster, scallops and shrimp over a bed of rice. The entree was delicious and reasonably priced for the gourmet setting your in. We will be back and highly recommend enjoying this restaurant.

Storytelling Steakhouse at Cliff Castle Casino offers an exceptional dining experience. The food is outstanding, from the tender filet mignon to the creamy Alfredo penne pasta. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is inviting, with a unique restaurant design. It is a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch cuisine and memorable moments.Thank you so much Christine and Ian!

Ambiance - Great! Service - Wonderful! Food... A party of 8 celebrating multiple birthdays. Most of the food was good. Those that ordered Lobster and Shrimp, not so much. One Lobster came out cleverly camouflaged by 2 shrimp skewers. The visual of the tail was mushy. Why would a professional chef turn out something that looks like mush? When I returned it to the kitchen, another tail was brought out to us before the add-on tail was served to another person at our table. The shrimp skewers were obviously boiled shrimp, undercooked, still opaque with raw zucchini medallions. When we go to a restaurant expecting to spend about 800.00, we expect better consistency, at least from plate to plate on the same table. Sorry to say we won't be back to StoryTellers.

The chef did a outstanding job the only thing we miss is the shrimp cocktail our waitress was so friendly and attentive we have been dining here for many years in the month of February and it was the best meal so far

I was with a party of 5. We each ordered 5 different entrees. We were all very happy with the quality of the food, the service we received and the ambiance at the restaurant. Entrees were artistically plated and delicious. Highly recommend Storyteller's restaurant for a fine dining experience.

The service was superb. We had Kimberly. She was terrific. We were seated in a booth with a view of the casino so I requested another booth for a more pleasant experience. They were accommodating about this. The menu has changed since we were here before. This was unfortunate. The only appetizer that looked interesting to me was the octopus. It was tasty but over cooked and extremely rubbery. The aioli dipping sauce was delicious. The soup of the day was French Onion. I usually love French Onion Soup because of the broiled crusty cheese on top of croutons. Not here. The cheese was merely melted on top of one average crouton. My partner’s Caesar Salad was delicious, however. I ordered the seafood trio. Whatever the sauce was for the scallops didn’t go well with scallops so I scraped it off. No sauce was offered for the shrimp so I just squeezed the lemon on them. That was only adequate. The lobster flavor was delicious but it was terribly overcooked. I had to borrow my partner’s steak knife to cut into it. His fillet mignon dinner was very good. Steer clear of the Octopus, French Onion Soup and Seafood Trio.

Service was excellent, from the hostess/greeting to the server and even the table assistant (water/bread). Unfortunately, that's where the good things about this restaurant end. The ambiance - it's a fake cave setting. I felt like it was dusty/dirty, very dark other than the exceedingly bright light over the table. Seemed old and dated. It is located inside a casino, which doesn't bother me at all, but you should be aware if you're going. They separated out the smoking area, so you don't have to walk through smoke to get there. The food - the bread was good and the whipped garlic chive butter was delicious. I tried not to fill up on it! The menu was a bit limited, but there was a good variety. I ordered the soup, which was a very thick and rich broccoli soup with shredded gouda on top. It was pretty good, but would be very filling if you were to eat the whole bowl. They should really have a cup option. I also had the filet. Although cooked to my preference (med rare), it was a very fatty cut of meat. The mushroom demi-glace was bland and lacking mushrooms. I wasn't a fan of the presentation of the mashed potatoes and they had way too much (black) pepper in them. The shoestring veggies were awkward to eat, but buttered and seasoned nicely. The wine list - wine by the glass is very limited and it seemed like there were an abundance of (what i would call) value wines. I ordered the only American cab sauv they had by the glass. It was terrible! Luckily, the server had received similar feedback earlier in the evening and allowed me to try it before committing. I decided on the red blend instead, which was much lighter, but ok. I wasn't impressed with the offerings - it was difficult to find another glass I was interested in trying. I would not choose to return to this restaurant.

I pulled up the menu on line, one week before our reservation. When we were served the menu, it was totally different. The waitress said the menu was changed several months ago. But it wasn't changed on line. The waitress was a little slow, even though she only had two other tables. The food was very good, but I ordered my steak med. rare, it came out very rare. I did not complain, because I didn't want to wait for a new one. I want to thank the Cliff Castle corp. for giving the Castle Club card members a FREE Dinner for the month of November.

Awesome spot that is so perfect for a romantic dinner! The booths are like little notched out caves, and the ambiance is perfect. The food was mouthwatering, my steak cooked to perfection, and the sides were fresh and delicious as well. The pork chops were huge but cooked perfectly as well, and every bite was scrumptious. It was tempting to fill up on the fresh bread with garlic butter. Last but not least, our server was amazing! She's only been there for about 2 weeks, but she was rocking it like a pro. She was attentive, honest with her opinions, and took great care of us.

The calamari frits were great, but the menu descriptions were terrible. I ordered a steak that said NOTHING about spiciness, since I think black pepper is too spicy, and when it came to the table, I took one bite of just plain steak and my mouth was on fire! The drink selection was pathetic! They told us that if we wanted any kind of cocktail, we could get it from the bar next door. So we tried ordering a few different cocktails & all of them were heavy-handed in alcohol and not tasty at all. I suggest they make a cocktail menu to order off of and have a bartender who knows how to make said drinks or not offer cocktails to us at all.The server did her best to make my night positive again, but once I get to a certain point, there's no going back for me. She was very helpful in trying to suggest other dishes and not picking some of them, so she gets a good amount of stars for that.

The menu posted on open table is not the same as the menu at Storytellers. Also, open table shows reservations are full, but they are not. Best to call for Storytellers for menu and reservations. Food is very expensive.
