Service was extremely slow, taking almost 2 hours for lunch. Clearly not enough staff. Food was ok, but not great. Prices all on the high side, but the service and food did not match. Sitting outside was the highlight of the meal. We won't be returning.

Went on Valentine's Day. -didn't realize it was a pre-fix menu. Probably my own fault for not catching it when I made the reservation. Unfortunately the prefix options were not great. Have eaten here before and it was excellent - tonight was a struggle. Waiter was trying hard but he was obviously new and not trained. Food was mediocre to poor - and very very expensive for what was received. Won't be going back - too many really good options is the area

Food seemed to be middle of the road quality. I had a turkey sandwich (not the grilled one) and my turkey meat itself was grilled. VERY ODD. So picked at it as it was hard to bite through as would be regular turkey sandwich meat. So I would suggest changing how the meat is treated to use a soft turkey, very stringy/hard.

Our server Erikka was AMAZING! Our first dish was not to our liking and was quickly replaced...our replacement dishes were fantastic. I would definitely return, especially if we were served by Erikka!

The menu is varied and nuanced with a regional flair. The prices are a bit high, but so is every other high end establishment. Erica was a fun and attentive server. Lunches are less expensive, still many choices and if it's warm enough, the view from the patio is lovely.

We left there with disappointment and agreed NEVER go back again . $300.00 for that meal was Outrageous.

I've eaten there many times, prefer the outdoors for lunch. The service was slow, the food was 'ok', lousy coffee and I like my coffee hot, it was brought to me with cream and then took 10 minutes for them to bring the sugar. When I asked for a 2nd cup, it took forever to get it and by the time it came, I was ready to pay the bill and go. I have had really good experiences at The Grill at The boulders, but this one was disappointing. There were only 3 other indoor tables occupied, so can't blame it on a Christmas eve rush.

Spent 7 nights at the Boulder resort. 7 days of golf had us visiting The Grill before and after our round. Rachel and Erica remembered us from previous visits and were always friendly and accommodating. Their personal service is one of the reasons we keeps coming back year after year. Thank you! Danny &

We were staying at the resort and wanted a drink and a salad after checking in. We sat in the bar because the grill was empty and dark. We ordered a bottle of Decoy cab which was good. But the prices on wine are definitely inflated. And we both ordered the salmon quinoa bowl. The salmon was not quality. It was an odd color and the flavor was not good. Neither of us ate more than 2 bites of it and the server looked at both plates and didn't ask about why it was uneaten. We were so hungry still we ordered chips and guac so we could have something to eat. They were kind enough to make us guacamole although it was not on the menu. But the chips tasted like old grease. As we were eating one of the servers dipped a towel in a bucket of water behind us and rang it out on the carpet as she walked toward a table to wash it off. I was so shocked by this in what I thought to be a "5 star resort". I would never go back.

We decided at the last minute to try this place. While the place and people are nice, we found it is not worth the price for the dinner menu. We ordered 2 filets and $52 seems to be the going rate for a good steak. However, I had never seen such a small cut of beef and thought maybe they had served me a medallion. I had to ask the waitress and she said they try to serve 5oz. Portions. My $24 crab cake was small too. I wanted a glass of Cabernet and a 6oz. pour of basic reds were $15-$22 a glass. Beware... We had a $17 Caesar Salad and we're going to split it. The waitress asked if we wanted them to do it and we said, "sure." They charged us $5 to put the lettuce on 2 plates. I felt this place was over-priced for the portions and food served. Outside looks like a great place for lunch, but dinner is not worth it.

First time trying this place and was hoping to find a place to take out of town guests. Waitress was lovely. The downfall was the following: 1. We ordered 2 filets and while they were flavorful, they were the smallest cuts of meat for $52 we have ever seen. 2. We split a $17 Caesar Salad. They asked if we wanted it split for us and said, “yes.” There wa a $5 charge to do this. We were never told. It was a surprise on the bill. She should have told us. 3. Drinks were pricy...$19.50 for a Kettle One Martini and $17 for a 6oz. Red wine pour. These are just some examples. This place would be better for lunch. You can sit outside, have a view, and grab a burger. If you are going to spend $265 for a meal, go to Ocean Prime or a better place for the price.

Fantastic meal! I am so confused by the negative reviews of this place. My husband and I just had an amazing dinner, with a gorgeous view, and super nice wait staff. I think the salmon is one of the best dishes I've ever had. The skin was crisped to perfection with forbidden rice that had a yummy light sauce with it. The veggies were beautiful and tasty. There were so many elements of this dish that came together beautifully. I wish I had a picture to share. I felt like i was at a 5 star restaurant. The only complaint was my dish was not piping hot when it came to the table, but I got over that with the first bite. My husband had the chicken and pumpkin pie and loved every bite. Give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed. The chef has got some talent!

If I could leave negative review I would. We sent back 4 out of 7 meals. The Reuben was all fat, they said they were having a problem with it. The burgers weren't cooked or seasoned. The steak was cooked at least the day before. The staff told us there was a problem in the kitchen but told us after the food was served. Waited for an hour for our food and then ended up sending it back. Didn't get refills until we asked. Will never go here again!

We had a wonderful experience at the grill. We checked into the boulders earlier in the day and enjoyed our walk to the restaurant. The service was excellent. Each item we ate was incredible. We started with a cauliflower bisque that was amazing and my husband had the pork (delicious) and I had the sweet corn ravioli that was equally amazing. Thank you!

Disappointed with food for price. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Very good experience with food, service and atmosphere on multiple dinners on last trip. We will go back on next trip.
