This was recommended to out of town folks like us…we were first timers here and had dinner reservation ahead by phone, overall my family enjoyed the experience. Shout out to our server Kim (Kimmy) for the superb dining experience. I’m old school so if you like rustic ambience or a garden outdoor like atmosphere then this is your vibe. Our food was on time and even the kids enjoyed what was on every plate. We will come back for the Mexican lasagna coz that ran out.Kid-friendliness: Our server was great with my little kid. Kim recommended the seafood Raul and the 9 yr old liked it.
Nothing bad to say, we had a nice time, very attentive servers, need to try out a few more times to really get a feel for the place, kind of on the fence but my guests liked it, older crowd for sure. Big caveat you need to make reservations, they do not take walkins.

Crispy Fish Tacos were very good. Nice presentation too. The service was great. This is a very unique restaurant and a fun experience. We walked the cactus garden and really enjoyed that too. I will definitely go back. Reservations definitely recommended.

I understand the "atmosphere at this place, but it really could use some "freshening up". It just looks rather dingy which makes the place "feel" not very clean. Would I eat there again? In a heartbeat! The food and service were 100%!

The 3 stars is based on the condition of facility rather than the food. Out of the 4 dinners 1 was unacceptable. The Southwestern Shrimp was less then adequate. The bacon wrapping the shrimp was not cooked adequately and the soda ordered with the dinner was flat. It took about 20 minutes to get another soda The rest of the dinners were good. The facility was less than adequate for the $200 spent for 4 people. The chairs were so soft you sank into them when you sat in them. The carpet near the entrance entering the dining area desperately needed to be replaced! The bathroom needed to be painted as the stall had paint issues. The dinner was NOT worth $200. It appears the owner is getting ready for retirement and doesn't want to spend the capitol to upgrade the facility. The handicap parking was not good. It was graveled and difficult to use for person using a walker

My wife and I are foodies so it makes it hard to find a place with the ambiance and food we can really enjoy and would return to. Well this place hit the spot. not a formal place but a very nice well kept garden setting to relax and enjoy. We made a reservation like we usually do and were seated promptly. The server must have known we were very particular in our order because she made it a point to make sure everything was just the way we wanted. Food: We give an 11 to because the chef's preparation of the food was perfect. Service: we give a 10 because the server was very attentive and friendly Ambiance: we give a 10 because it was a very relaxing atmosphere to sit and enjoy the great food. This is definitely a place we will be revisiting again and again.
