“When I got there there was a gentleman outside and I asked if they were still open. He just walked passed me like I wasn’t there, I spoke louder and he still kept walking. We went to the window to order and asked if they spoke English and the guy taking the order said no. My sister placed order in Spanish and while waiting for order the owner pulls up in a car and all the sudden everyone spoke English. The guy who kept ignoring me asked if I was ready to pay in English. It’s a miracle what can happen when the owner arrives, they started taking orders and speaking English. The owner was very nice but the workers were so rude. Food was great!“
“I love visiting food trucks and small mom-and-pop restaurants. And so when I saw that The Bird Box was open at the same time that I was hungry, I was compelled to visit. The "parking lot" is tiny, enough for maybe 3 or 4 vehicles. But I found a spot, and walked up to the trailer. Everyone who worked there, from the woman taking the order to the team preparing the food, is extremely hospitable. Very respectful, very helpful, very accommodating. I've heard that some orders can take a while to fill, so I asked what could be ready quickly, and they recommended the brisket. So I got that, some beans, and greens. I was hungry, and wanted to enjoy the food right then and there, so I started eating it right there in my Toyota Solara convertible. The meat was cooked well, and pretty sloppy with BBQ sauce -- which I confess that I really like. The baked beans had peaches as one of the ingredients! I've never had peaches in my beans, but when I make them at home, from now on ... they'll have peaches. The greens were just about perfect, though I did find a few bones. It happens. I wasn't upset. So would I go back? Yup. The thing is, since I visited, I bought my own smoker. I haven't produced anything as good as The Bird Box yet, so until I do, I'll be giving them more of my business.“

I hope he is back up and running soon.--- Pulled up on a Wednesday morning @ 7:15 only to find an empty lot despite their listing indicating that they were open and ready for business :(“
“This place is great. The portions are big in my opinion. We loved an appetizer called “tostaditas”, it was amazing. Our server, Natalie, recommended that appetizer. Her service was great, very friendly. We tried different rolls, tostadas, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was delicious!“

“Awesome food truck run by a sweet mother & daughter! So glad I found this place! My husband & I got the pad thai & pineapple curry. Both amazingly flavorful & delicious as well as having great portion sizes! The curry was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with coconut milk! The Pad Thai is the best I’ve had since moving to Arizona! Highly recommend!“
