I found this to be different and my shredded beef chimi was very good. Service was fast and the chimi was huge. I'm not used to not seeing beans and rice with a meal like this but that chimi more than made up for it. The place has a European feel and it does feel and taste a bit like Mexican food you would get in the UK but it's still very good and well worth my visit. They have German food which will be the objective of my next visit.Edit: the food is very rich. Very good with high quality ingredients and fills you up quick and you should get a box.

Great chicken nachos. Chips made onsite. Delicious salsa. Paige was an absolutely fantastic server. The only thing I didn’t like was that the happy hour $5 margaritas are premixed and very sweet. Owner is very attentive. Beautiful inside with available patio.

This is an interesting restaurant with a Latino name, sort of European interior design, with Mexican & German food on the menu. It's owned and run by a U.S. Veteran who lived in Germany for 10 years. My daughter had a burrito and I had Jager Schnitzel with fries. We also had fantastic margaritas. We were both delighted with our food! We entered at 6pm, ordered at 6:15 and food was at our table at 6:42. I don't think that's a bad wait time for homemade Schnitzel! After reading reviews, I was very pleasantly surprised with both the food and the service. I will be returning. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Food is the major reason for the low scores! They serve German food too, well I don't know where they learned to cook it but it was substandard! I haven't tried their Mexican food, but I doubt I'll be back. Too bad, because the owner seems really nice!

Over priced, and very slow to get food, didn’t taste very good. I won’t recommend anything unless you wander to spend 25.00 on a bratwurst.

To say we were disappointed with our first (and last!) dining experience tonight at Casa Ramirez would be an understatement. Our usual local go-to restaurant for Mexican food is Charlota's (across the street), but it was packed with a wait time of 30 minutes. We thought we'd try a new one. We arrived about 6 pm on Tues 1/30 with only two tables occupied. We waited about 3-4 minutes for the waitstaff to approach us for a table. We could see two people chatting in the back and almost left, but then one of them saw us. The wait person was prompt thereafter with the menus, water, and taking our order. The ambiance is good - clean, quiet, comfortable. The menu is strange however - quite expensive, but has only limited Mexican offerings, and also offers German fare. I ordered my usual Carne Asada Burrito. I always order this, I like to compare different restaurants when I am trying a new one. What I got looked nothing like, nor tasted anything like, a carne asada burrito from Charlota's (or Guadalajara Restaurant, or any other Mexican restaurant I have eaten at). First off, presentation was poor. What I got was a flat tube of a wrap on a small rectangular plate with a small side of shredded lettuce. I asked were the beans and rice were? Inside, I was told. So I dug in. The tortilla had been warmed up in a microwave, making it stiff & rubbery and hard to cut and chew. Inside, it was actually all beans and rice with about 2 tablespoons of carne asada meat and a few flecks of green and red probably minced green onion and tomato. The food was lukewarm and I left most of the tortilla as not edible. I felt that this was the single most expensive beans & rice meal I have ever eaten ($14.99). I could have done better at home with prepackaged beans and rice (which I eat a lot). Typically, a carne asada burrito anywhere else is huge and I only eat half, take the rest home. Not this one. There was not enough there even for one meal. Charlota's carne asada burrito, by comparison, always makes two meals. It is filled ONLY with carne asada, a lot of avocado, diced onion and very little else. It is fat and round. Lots of beans and rice and salad on the side. And for $2 less. My partner likewise, had a very poor experience. He ordered a combo plate that include Carne con Chili. It was also lukewarm, lacked flavor. There were potatoes in his chili, very little meat, and quantity was small for $15.99. It shouldn't be a surprise at this point that we left Casa Ramirez feeling hungry and cheated; we absolutely did not get a good value for our money. We eat out a lot. We love Mexican food - from food trucks, hole in the wall local places, some chain restaurants, and one-off high end places. I lived in Mexico for three months. We don't have a lot of discretionary money, but love supporting local businesses, restaurants, and non-profits. Like everyone, we have had experiences in restaurants that didn't meet our expectations, but never have we been motivated to leave a negative review. We just vote with our feet. In this case, we felt the value was so poor that we needed to say something, no matter how much I don't like doing it. The owner and the cooks should really go eat at some Mexican restaurants. Maybe they need to decide whether they want to serve Mexican or German food. They should check out the quantities served and what is being charged at like restaurants. Casa Ramirez has been in operation less than a year. It received lots of negative reviews on Nextdoor early on, and I had hopes that things had changed. Unfortunately, if our meal experience and some of the other poor reviews are any indication (some said the restaurant ran out of food!!!), this restaurant is not long for this world.

Food was good but a bit pricey for lunch. Easy to find and plenty of parking. While it's primarily Mexican, they have a German food night once a week and have a treat case with German desserts.

This place is delightful! What a delicious meal and the coffee was to die for! We started with a dirty chai and Vietnamese drip coffee. Then we moved on to Jager Schnitzel and German noodles followed by cheese enchiladas and ground beef taco. The German food is available everyday now, and it's amazing! This is my new favorite place!
