It was our first time dining here. I had my heart set on an amazing steak dinner with a baked potato, mushrooms and asparagus....thats exactly what I got. All our steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. The char on the steaks and mushrooms was superb. The prime rib could be cut with a fork. We couldn't be happier with the meal. We sat in a booth that had high backs making it feel cozy and private unlike other steakhouses that pack people in....much appreciated. The staff was informative and friendly which was also refreshing. We will definitely be back.... !
I haven't eaten at Blank Angus in probably 30 years. The experience was one of the best I've had recently. We are definitely adding this to our list of restaurants we will frequent! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambience was the best. Thank you, Black Angus!

I ordered a sirloin strip steak for my entree with house salad and baked potato. The salad was fresh but the bleu cheese dressing was very bland .My baked potato seemed to be more steamed than baked. ok. My sirloin strip steak was so tough that I was going to ask for a chain saw to cut it. Lots if grissstle and again very bland. I consider myself to be a steak connoisseur but not a professional of course. Sorry to say I won't be recommending this restaurant to my friends or enemies.

We have been to this Black Angus MANY times for dinner. For the first time, we went in the late afternoon and caught their Happy Hour Menu. We had drinks on Happy Hour and they were very good. I for the first time (ever) had their burger.... it was very good and my wife had their Chicken Tenders and she loved them. The service was excellent. Once again... Black Angus did not disappoint.

I recently ordered the Campfire Feast for two; 2 salmon dinners. When I tell you this was the most disgusting food I have ever eaten from Black Angus. What in the world happened? The salmon was so over-cooked, they even gave us a used lemon wedge. All the green in the green beans and broccoli was cooked out. It was just a horrible meal. We ended up going to McDonald's to get something to eat. I called and asked to speak to the manager to no avail, and the manager never called me back. I can promise Black Angus will NEVER get another dime of my money, and I will never recommend this place. I am so very disappointed with them. I wish there was a way to get my money back.

Service was horrible. Order an advertised special of steak and fried shrimp. Waited an hour for our food only to bring us a different entree. They said the the other special was over so they substituted our order without asking. This is the 3rd time we have gone here with dismal results, I don't know if it's all locations or just this one in Chandler. We won't going back. We used to love eating here.

We came here because my mom remembers eating at Black Angus in Texas when she was going up. Food was yummy and fresh. For the price and the quality this place is a gem. The service was really wonderful as well. It's about half an hour from our house but we'll be back.

Absolutely love Black Angus, and this was our go to location. We go 2-3 times a month just to put it out there. Last night was the final straw. This location has really gone downhill as far as service goes. While I understand it was Valentine's Day we couldn't help but feel underserved by staff. It all starts at the door... arrived 25 minutes before our reservation and every other group that came in was sat before us. Out waitresses was rushing us to order, appetizer was out immediately and then our food took a long time to come out. Trying not to make a scene we didn't complain. 2 of the 3 steaks (ordered medium) were grey inside. Not a hint of pink anywhere. Major inconsistency in side portions. One plate was heaping with mashed potatoes and the other had barely a scoop. I could count my green beans. We all get the same thing each visit so it was very disappointing overall. Just proceed with caution and keep the expectations low at this point. We have had some off times at this location but it's become more normal unfortunately.
In my opinion, paying over $50 for a ribeye steak with lobster where the ribeye was not even 1/2 inch thick with horribly overcooked asparagus was not worth it. The reviews were good for this place, I wish I had read any that honestly reviewed the quality of the steak. I was only able to eat about half of it, mostly gristle. I wasn't going to make a scene by complaining on Valentines, just smiled and enjoyed the night out. My wife had the filet, looked to be better quality and was at least almost an inch thick. When I looked around to make sure that my steak wasn't just an oddball, I did see other ribeye steaks of the same quality. Shame actually, as a good steak house that is semi-affordable is hard to find in the Phoenix area...I will keep looking.

Wait to be seated was a little long for having a reservation. Food was very good but could have been a bit warmer. Service was good but not great. Will definitely go back and give it a second try.

First we made a reservation for 545pm, checkin early at 515 because of traffic we got there early, at 6p I asked how long the wait was and was told we are only seating the the 530 clients at that time and my name was down the list for! At 645 I was seated. The waitress while very polite messed up the order. Then the waitress acted rushed, which I'm sure she was but at $190for two having dinner for 2 hours would be normal. Instead we were out within 1.25 hrs with dessert appetizer dinner and drinks. The $190 included 1 cocktail. Tails were fishy and very small. Filet was done well to order. Potatoes cold on inside and warm from heat lamp. Asparagus was soggy. Then the bad stomach all night long from the food. Would not think it's a repeat for us.

Terrible food, meat was cold and I accidentally left my key there with a keychain that my father gave me as a present and I picked it up the next day and the key chain wasn't on the key anymore. This place steals from its customers and it's not worth the time and money, stay far away from this place.
