This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Phoenix. The food is excellent, but the one complaint we have is that it is not consistent. You do not always know what you are going to get. For example, sometimes the orange chicken is crispy and perfect, and other times it is swimming in sauce (still delicious, though). Sometimes you will request only tofu and will get chicken and tofu, or vice versa. The first Thai tea we had was absolutely phenomenal, but the second one was much more sweet (which I understand is typical for Thai tea, but very different from our first experience). The food is of such excellent quality that this does not really matter in the long run. We will definitely continue to come back! The Khao Soi is heavenly and I am addicted. They also have the best tofu we have tried!

I will start off being upfront- my boyfriend and I tried Charm for the first time, we initially were very impressed. Our food came quick as we were the only people in there and initially we were really impressed. My boyfriend then found a very long couple of hairs in his rice. He was hesitant to say anything but was not going to eat any more of his meal after finding the hair. He had eaten not even a fourth of his plate at this point. I encouraged him to say something to the woman working. He politely told her he had found a hair in his food and asked if there was anything they could do like a discount. When asked he politely declined to have the dish remade as he had lost his appetite. She basically rolled her eyes and huffed, went over to the door of the kitchen and yelled "he said no". I want to emphasize we were very polite in telling her about it and everything up to this point. She was so rude and unprofessional of her handling of the situation. His plate with the hair was left on the table and at the end of it we were given $1 off of the meal. Absolutely will never go back and would never recommend to anyone. Go next door to Jinya for good Ramen if you're looking to spend your money somewhere.

What happened to Charm Thai? It used to be amazing and now it's not even good. Too expensive for quality of food.

First time server was very attentive, and everything came out timely. The Tom kha was so flavorful I almost wish I got the large all to myself! We had the edamame, which was a great price, green curry chicken and the purple sticky rice with mango for dessert. The picture does not do the sticky rice justice, it was not too sweet, the mango was fresh and it was great to share.

The ambiance is so nice. They really did such a great job with a small space. Very cozy and romantic inside. I had the eggplant with tofu dish. It was delicious and plenty of food. I liked that it wasn't all eggplant and that it came with a variety of other vegetables as well. Delish!!

I had the ginger stir fry vegetables. It was nice and light - perfect for lunch. Hot spice level was very good for that dish - it was not crazy hot, but carried the flavor. The service was attentive. I will definitely eat there again.Vegetarian options: Ginger stir fry vegetables had great full flavor. I added chicken to mine, but I would not feel like I was missing much without it.

For some reason the food delivered tasted different from when we dined in. Not surprised though. I don't know what it is with food delivery. Never ordering delivery again. Just had to because we had a long day and didn't feel like driving up to go dine in on Wednesday.

Eaten there once before with a friend and it was good. However this time with family was wildly different. Ended up arriving right at 5 yet it was still closed. I ended up calling around 5:05 just to confirm they were open and the waitress walked out and unlocked the door while we were all waiting there, ignoring us standing in front of the door. Once arriving, we sat and opened a menu to reveal a cockroach or cricket sitting within the menu. My daughter was startled and said there was a bug crawling towards her and we turned around to reveal another bug on the wall. We all stood up to leave and the waitress merely offered to allow us to switch tables with no mention of the bugs surrounding us. We ended up leaving. A very bizarre and awful experience!

I never knew I loved pad see EW! I ordered a broccoli dish, but most of it was stems instead of crowns. That's why it's one star short.

This place has REALLY delicious Thai food. The TomYum I had was probably one of the most delicious TomYums I’ve ever had. We are really happy we stumbled upon this place with their cute high end vibes and super delicious food. The staff was busy but they made it a point to get to know us and frequently checked to see if we were doing well.

Pad Thai which I ordered was excellent. My friends ordered lemongrass soup and ginger vegetables and both had completely raw mushrooms and inedible chunks of ginger in their meals. Our waitress was very kind and trying hard but it was her first day and no one seemed to be training her, so she was not very helpful. A different waitress brought us a bill without asking if we wanted anything else even though we would've ordered more drinks. I loved the pad Thai but would be wary of returning due the bad service and other bad dishes.

Be sure to check in first. You get a free Thai Tea. I can't believe we haven't come sooner. They are located in a hopping sections. But they're kind of obscure. They do offer patio seating, Indoor table seating and bar seating. We were greeted and sat immediately. They offer lunch specials and happy hour specials.
