I LOVED this place!!! The manager came over several times to make sure we liked the food. He even made us a bet that if the miso dip was too spicy he would replace and pay for it. The food was so good and the music they had in there was BOMB!!! I would highly recommend this place and would come back here anytime. So glad I found this place :)

Excellent food at a reasonable cost with extremely friendly and attentive staff. Their burgers, pizza, and wings are all very good.Their claim of biggest wings in town is no exaggeration. The wing sauces with sweetness to them were, for the most part, a little sweeter than I personally like, but I can tell they were well executed with quality ingredients. Their Buffalo sauce us perfect. The Cajun steak fries had very tender steak morsels and the sauce was not overpowering allowing the flavor of the meat and spices to shine.

Just moved close by & looking for a good hang out spot to take my puppy when the weather cools down… by far the BEST service staff from the hostess, to the servers and the bartenders, & specifically our server, Marissa! She is probably the best I’ve experienced in years ?! Attentive, personable, gorgeous, sweet, and very knowledgeable of the menu.I look forward to coming back for some patio cocktails with my ? in October/ November

Went to see a friend of ours who was playing music there and decided to sit at the bar! Our first impression was this place is cool, the bar area is big and the rest of the place looks really cool also! We had us a couple beers (great selection on tap btw) and the prices were also good! Then, we noticed that is was a Denver Broncos bar and we got really excited! This place suddenly became our heaven lol. The bartender was so amazing and she even mentioned she was a Broncos fan as well! So we’ll definitely be back, and we’re looking forward to hanging out and watching some crazy football games there! #DB4L

I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and while there was a note on the menu to add chicken, beef, etc. to the salad, there was no price listed on the menu for adding chicken. Much to my disappointment, when the salad arrived nearly 30 minutes after my order, I counted only 8 small cubes of chicken only to find out later when I got the bill, that the cost for those 8 small cubes of chicken was $8.00!!! I ended up paying $19.00 for a chicken Caesar salad which was smaller than the $6.94 version I can get from Salad and Go! My wife ordered a different salad with steak and received a much heartier portion of steak and only cost $18.00...why is chicken more expensive than steak I ask?! I guess that explains why the restaurant was not very busy on a Saturday evening for dinner as I suspect the word is getting around that the food here is way overpriced and you get very small portions...poor value to say the least, which is why I will never return to the Ginger Monkey! Service was exceptionally slow considering the lack of customers in the dining area...it took nearly 15 minutes each time I needed a refill on my soda. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

We ate in the bar. Service was excellent and the menu choices were just as good. I like all the monkey themed stuff around the restaurant.

Don't waste your time and money. This place has a false front. Website looks good, the building is nice yet the food is subpar. For example, the veggies brought with the hummus were soggy, soft and tasteless with carrots not properly peeled, very soft and cucumbers soggy. Hummus didn't taste like hummus and pizza ordered was not delivered to the table then was delivered under cooked. Service is slow to nonexistent and the drinks are incorrect with staff unable to provide the right wine or Prosecco. Not sure how they manage to stay in business. Seemed like whoever owns or runs it doesn't care any longer. Staff is too young and inexperienced to know better.

Had a great experience here. Got a little bit of everything - it was all delicious. The GM was a delight - saw to it that we had an excellent experience and made some great recommendations on food and drinks.

Had a friends night out tonight- just me and a GF. We haven't been here in 4 years, so werent exactly sure how things had change post-Covid. We started with drinks. My friend ordered a Mountain Dew. It was flat and tasted odd. She sent it back and got water instead. We were within Happy Hour times, so we ordered a pretzel appetizer and hummus. The pretzels were the best part of the night, although the cheese tasted like a powder mixed with some water for smoothness. We asked for some beer mustard and it was awful. The "hummus" was exponentially worse. In fact, I'm not even sure it was hummus. It tasted red peppery with a tinge of fish. I'm Greek and my husband is Middle Eastern, so we certainly know about (and often make our own) hummus. We couldn't eat it, so I brought it home for my husband to taste and he even said it's definitely not hummus. He guessed maybe eggplant, but who knows? Now, for the entrees. We both got the Mile High Grilled Cheese. It comes with bacon, but I'm a vegetarian, so I asked to sub avocado. The sandwich came out with bacon on the edges- like they put bacon on it and then realized it wasn't supposed to be there and tried to take it off. It wasn't a huge deal, but what was a huge deal is that they charged $3 for 5 very small avocado slivers! I figured that the sub for bacon would be a fair trade, but I guess they charged me for the cost of 4 whole avocados. My onion rings were also an additional $3, so my grilled cheese, pretzel appetizer, soft drink, and onion ring side cost $40 pre-tip! I wouldn't have even minded if the food was good. Very mid- and that's being generous. The place was nearly empty- 4 other tables. The service was pretty good. Waitress was nice and attentive, thus the 2 stars. Music was the highlight of the evening. We both said we are scratching this place off our rotation of girls night out. It's a shame, too, because we know the owners casually and they are nice people, but this place has, unfortunately, really taken a turn for the worst.

We saw this place on Robert Irvine’s Restaurant Impossible, sooo happy we did! Great vibe, amazing wings, friendly people. Took us a while to get here but we’ll definitely be back!!

Update 4/1 - stopped in while bar hopping on bikes. A little after 8 on a Saturday night. PLENTY of available seating and a live band. We sat out on the patio at a fire pit so that we could talk and still hear the band. Our server was excellent. We just had drinks but enjoyed the atmosphere with the live band.Prior post a couple of years ago:Arrived with guests for Happy Hour on Friday evening. This place was the busiest I've ever seen it; which is fine unless you seat so many people you then cannot serve them. I don't mind waiting for food as long as the server brings drinks when needed. But our server disappeared for the longest time. We just wanted to leave but we couldn't even pay out. We saw other people who ordered food leave before their food came out. I'll likely go back because it's our neighborhood but if the service doesn't improve I'll be going back to Zipps.

We had our office Christmas party here. The food was great. They accommodated our 30+ party in a private patio area. It was cozy warm for being outside. We had use of their large TV for a Slide presentation. Great music & atmosphere was amazing. Many of our party enjoyed the drinks. They allowed a 3rd party vender to accommodate our staff with permanent jewelry. We appreciated the attention they gave us when needed.

I ordered the short rib sliders. I'm not sure what they're braised in but they were good & filling. My husband ordered the fish fry. The fish was amazing & I'm not a fan of fish. I wasn't thrilled with the cole slaw. The fries were tasty. I really liked the atmosphere & a nice selection of beer on tap & interesting cocktails. Oh and the menu prices include tax so nice round numbers. Love that!

We had less then a great experience, there was some confusion about the table we reserved and once seated it was over 10 minutes until we saw our waitress. Our order was wrong and we ate it anyways then ordered what we did want....in the middle of our meal the waitress asked to cash out because they were sending her home ( we were no where near being finished ) The manager was professional and handled the issues with the food and we thank him for that. Otherwise this place had great live music ?? and we had a good time.
