We love this restaurant! The food and service is wonderful. The staff were so attentive to our grandchildren and made them feel valued. We will make this a weekly stop!

One of my former co-workers had been inviting me to try this place for years and I never was on that side of town to check it out... until last night. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Even though they were busy, my party was seated quickly and provided with menus which had a very nice selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiched and entrees. There was also a separate drink menu for those who wish to imbibe. The staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and they treat you like family. Where most places are an exercise in tense chaos when they are busy, the staff maneuvered like a well oiled machine, all with a smile and polite interaction. The owner came by a couple of times to make sure we were well taken care of and happy. Now... the food. Pizza... I love pizza. Frequenting Chicago and New York City. I've become a pizza snob. I've been very disappointed with poor and loose definition of "pizza" here in Arizona. When, the Chicago chain pizzerias (I won't mention names, but. Chicagoans know who they are) came to Arizona, I was elated. But in a matter of months, the pizza became only a shadow of its Windy City roots. I ordered "The Works" with everything on it. Here, the pizza is phenomenal and the toppings are crisp with freshness, as if the vegetables were just pulled from the vine. The crust is soft and with a pleasant crunch, reminiscent of a fine artisan baguette. The flavor and aroma of the crust was present, unlike a lot of places, it wasn't dry or too sweet. The sausage and pepperoni was flavorful and wasn't greasy, like a lot of chain places. The cheese was consistent and velvety with a smooth finish. All were married together with a nicely seasoned sauce that allowed every ingredient to shine in the palate pleasing ensemble. I've never had an addiction, but I can understand the trials and tribulations one must go through if they do. Mine is officially the pepperoni Pizza rolls. The rolls had the same wonderful pepperoni and cheese as I described above, but I don't know what they did to the dough, probably gave every roll a big hug before baking, but the rolls were almost a religious experience. If you are on a strict diet, these aren't for you. This is a gateway appetizer that will have you scratching at the door waiting for the restaurant to open at every visit. Dessert. I had the Strawberry cheesecake. To preface what I'm about to say, I bake a lot of cheesecake from scratch. I love cheesecake more than I love pizza. The strawberry cheesecake was a semi firm, chilled and creamy with a spot on balance of tart and sweet. There's no skimping here. Unlike competitors, the strawberry flavor blended throughout the cheesecake is real strawberries, not some artificial strawberry syrup. Exquisite. Last, but not least, the cannoli. If the pizza rolls are the gateway, the cannoli are the hook to get you back in the door... not that the other menu items don't do the same. The shells were crisp and not oily and the filling was soft and heavenly. So much so that I ordered a "to go" container full of them before I left (WARNING: I don't recommend eating cannoli and driving at the same time). I now have a new favorite place and plan to plow through the menu in short order. I will take the hour long drive to get there as this is not just a restaurant, but a delightful destination.

Soon as we walked in we were happily greeted. Very nice atmosphere and clean. Family owned business, everyone was very nice. We loved our food, spaghetti and meat sauce and meat lovers Stromboli. They also serve tastey alcohol mixed drinks. We will be returning to try something new.

This used to be my 'Go To' pizza place. Let me start by saying the pizza is top notch. This place has tested Price Elasticity. This principle of economics measures the affect of quantity demanded to changes in price. I was a customer of this was place for around 10 years. I loved this family owned business and enjoyed supporting local businesses. Over the years, my standard order got more and more expensive. My standard order increased in price over 100% for the same thing. I started exploring my options and have founds similar pizza (not as good) but 30% cheaper. La Famiglia has Priced me out. I don't Demand this product at this Price level. All the money saved I can go explore other local establishments. Thank you.

Amazing food and service a shout out to Bonnie and her dad for owning an authentic Italian family owned restaurant first time there and just for the garlic bread and meatballs we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. If you're looking for authentic tasty ingredients. You must try this place.

I got their Hawaiian pizza on postmates and it was amazing! Cheese was great, topping were great and the crust had a great flavor. What put this over the top for me was that the crust had the most perfect slight char to it and was nice and crunchy. I also got the calamari, it wasn't super great but it came with lots of lemon to squeeze over them and a really good marinara sauce. Will definitely be ordering pizza from here again and some other items.

This is a great small Italian place in the East Valley. It reminded me of my college days back in Pittsburgh; they have pepperoni rolls! Coming from NY, pizza is an issue out here in AZ; this place does a good job with their thin crust pies. i have been here a few times over the last 6 months, and they are consistent, and I appreciate that. I always order a cheese pie from a new joint as a good test; this place passes. They have pasta, entrees, pizza, salads, and everything a typical Italian spot would offer. I tried their shrimp parmesan hero, and it was really good. Tried their Sicilian and Works slices as well, they don't shy away from the toppings. The baked manicotti was very good as well; they have good sauce. But, my favorite was the pepperoni rolls, salty and doughy and a good crust on them as well. A good option for Italian. Check them out for yourself.

La Famiglia is our families choice of pizza when in the East Valley. The business is family owned and everyone is kind, service is quick but the quality also exceeds expectations. I recommend eating in unless you live close. The pizza is at its best while still hot! If you do eat in, you feel like your at home or nonnas. It is warm, inviting and perfect lighting for family dinner. Besides their pizza, get the zeppoles and and garlic knots they're to die for!

Was in town for a baseball tournament. They hosted our team for lunch. The waitress was amazing as we filled the place up. Service was spot on and the food was amazing!

We love this place and the family that owns it. We moved to California a few years ago and haven't been able to find anything close to La Fam! Every time we come back into town this is the first place we come to to get some food! The cheese pizza and baked ziti

First time here. I was hoping for spaghetti that was flavorful and comparable to Sal's Gilbert Pizza or Oreganos and instead got bland flavorless pasta with runny marinara. Also the water they serve tastes like it comes from the tap, had a wierd bad aftertaste. However the bread they serve was good and the Caesar salad was good. My friend liked the shrimp dish he got.
