Mikado Sushi is an Authentic Japanese restaurant. What a pleasant surprise this place was!! The sushi quality was excellent, better than many in Chandler. Everything tasted great! And their prices are reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and kind. We can't wait to visit again.

It's a wonderful shop.You can enjoy great Japanese food, not just Japanese food in name.I was also shocked by the sashimi, as I was able to fully enjoy the flavor of the ingredients.There are some dishes with American flavors, but the fact that they are able to do them well is proof of the chef's skill.The portion was amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was served with two pieces of tonkatsu.When I first visited, I was very happy to be greeted by the owner and his wife.The floor staff also spoke polite Japanese, and I was able to enjoy my meal in a very pleasant manner.Next time I would like to try the sushi rolls.

We have been coming to Mikado's for over 20 years...we have always had the absolute best experience with service and food! The new ownership has ensured to keep most everything the same. The staff always welcomes us with smiles and recognition and already has our drinks ready and often our usual appetizer salads. The small hometown feel is something that we love here and the food is always fresh and delicious!

This place was the best sushi restaurant I have visited personally. We ordered sushi, Nabeyaki Udon, and Shumai. Let me tell you it was so delicious, the food came out nice and hot! The sushi and wasabi was immaculate. Not only did they win us with their food but their service was on top! They always had a smile on their face and made sure we had our drinks filled throughout our whole stay. After we left they thanked us, so respectful and kind. You will make a mistake not giving this place a try. Will definitely be coming here again!

Headed to a car dealership appointment (1hr away) and we love stopping to get food we can't get in Glendale area. Stepped into to get some sushi and was blown away by their service right off the bat. Polite, genuine, and prompt with anything we needed. The food showed up very fast and looked amazing. It tasted equally great and I was blown away by how this place was not packed. We will definitely be back and my guess is it will be busier.

Stopped by for the first time here for a quick lunch. Got the 2 piece lunch special and chose the vegetable tempura, and salmon teriyaki. Everything was delicious; I even ate all the cabbage salad. It also came with miso soup, not pictured since I finished it before photo.? All staff were so friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Have supported this restaurant for the last few years, even throughout the pandemic (take out). Very disappointed with what we got in the last order: the same $15 Blossom roll is about half of the size of what it used to be. I understand the business needs to make money, but I will choose to go somewhere else.

Authentic sushi restaurant (not just American style rolls). Recently changed ownership to an actual Japanese sushi chef (Mr. Aki). Staff greeted us just like in Japan! Great and friendly service. Great value for money. We'll be back!!We had the sashimi plate for 2...wow, so much and very delicious. It can feed 3 actually.
