Love this place. I’ve only recently discovered filipino food. Nanay’s has been my favorite restaurant to explore it all. I’ve tried everything but don’t remember their name.If you’re just starting out, their breakfast options are delicious and more similar to American choices, like sausages and egg. All with an amazing garlic rice.If you’re into the more interesting and different dishes, Dinuguan is a black pork dish, black with pork blood. Dinuguan with rice and their deliciously tart sinigang (complimentary with their combo plates) to cut the richness of the dinuguan. It’s perfection.Dinuguan is if you love fatty meat. It coats the white rice for a party in your mouth.

My wife rates it as the best Filipino food in the east valley. Please don't reuse fryer oil, it makes your food less delicious and healthy. Portions are smaller than they used to be and prices seem to have gone up even more than inflation. We have visited 20 times,at least, over the years and based off our last visit it is definitely not currently a 5 Star establishment.

We love this place. Had our second visit. We drive over an hour each way to come here once a month. Service is with a smile, phenomenal and friendly. Food is exactly how I remember it. There are so many choices but I come here for the same thing, kare kare and dinuguan while my daughter loves the pansit and daing. I also enjoy the bilog bilog, turon and now the taho. Will try the halo halo on our next visit. See you next month!

I rolled in on a sleepy Friday afternoon, January 5. I'm relatively new to the area, I'm Tisoy [Filipino-American] so I was hankering for some good Flip food!I was greeted immediately as if I was family because, frankly, Filipinos are genuinely warm like that. My Mom passed away 20 some odd years ago, so the names of the dishes escaped me, but my eyes were identifying all the yummy dishes she made. The layout was surprisingly open for a restaurant. The Top 40 music that played softly was a nice touch, but expected at a Filipino restaurant. The obligatory Air Supply song greeted my ears (Even The Nights Are Better)I pointed to the entrees I wanted, and ask nicely what the names were (no dish placards) Once I paid for my anticipated yummy food, I surveyed the furniture - the karaoke set up was the final clue that this was a Filipino restaurant!I really felt at home as the 4 - 5 women of the kitchen joyfully exchanged Tagalog, or perhaps Visayan, (I couldn't differentiate) I didn't have room for lechon, but I'll be back to have that first. If you are a Filipino that's homesick in the Phoenix area, do yourself a favor, and drive straight here. No need to have BH Tupperware, they'll supply you. IYKYK, and if you don't ... you don't.

This was our first time trying Filipino food and we were not disappointed! The staff was incredibly helpful and sweet and the food was phenomenal and so reasonably priced. Would recommend to everyone!

I ordered lumpia Shanghai & lechon sisig n it was terrible taste very sour n my visitors said were did you buy this they said n I told 'em Nancy restaurants. For me I don't mind to pay expensive food if it's tasty but lechon sisig eventually horrible taste. I just threw away $100 . I learned my lesson not to order again with them in the future i can make my own. 1 of my friends said I think they put a whole gallon of vinegar she said. Every 1 I'm not trying to scare you beware of the hairs too because my friend open the lumpia she found a hair in the edges of the tray.

Too oily, I hope they will limit oil. The sauce is made of oil. I'm sorry I love Filipino food but if it gives you a heart attack after a good meal I'll skip

Second visit and have to say, prices are high for what you get. $5.99 for a bbq pork skewer with small pieces of meat, the beef caldereta was chewy and not that tender...$11.99, for a medium, truly not worth it...large pancit was loaded up but $13.99...Little town near San Francisco called Daly City, there's a place call Fil-Am on School st. They have chicken and pork bbq and the pieces of meat are big for around $3, beef caldereta was is very tender and the pancit is a lot less money...I get it, there aren't many Filipino restaurants in this area, so why not get the prices up??? It's business...right???

A bit conflicted on our second time here. We definitely will return though because the value is so good. We ordered two 3 entree plates to go and some dishes were extra greasy (which is expected so its fine) but the longanisa was strangely soft this time. The casing should have a crispy crunch to it when you bite into it. We were disappointed in that!Garlic rice was extra flavorful this time which we enjoyed. I liked that they gave us 2 different soups versus just the usual 1. The new soup was healthier and more refreshing than the usual sinigang they offer.
