Roy's has a decent happy hour. Had the sampler, which was hefty in price but allowed us to decide quickly what we liked. Drinks were good, service was good. We sat at the bar and this seemed to be the place where visitors wanted to be at.

Unfortunately this location like all of Roy's locations are permanently closed as of June 2022

Great service, food was okay.... Prices did not justify the experience.... I won't be going back...

We enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Roy's. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food, presentation and ambiance were great. My wife enjoyed the scallops and the ahi was well prepared and very good. The Roy's version of pineapple upside down cake was delicious.

What an amazing experience all the way around. First, the maitre d' was exceptional and made us feel like we were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant. We were seated outside, the ambient sound of the waterfall in the distance and the live music coming from the courtyard was peaceful. The food, OMG the food was out of this world. I had the BUTTER FISH, it was melt in my mouth awesome. My wife had the seafood and she didn't say a word from the time she sat down and began to eat. It was a little pricey, but worth the money TIMES TEN. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND - If you have a special occasion this is a special place.

I've eaten there many time. Server James advised 2 popular dinners are the best. I have always liked the Butter fish ( my favorite) it was not recommended and was told was not so good. The recommended Sea bass was just ok and the same with the Sampler. Oh well. Will most likely not come again for awhile

We had a great experience. Our server, Cade, was great. The food was very tasty. We went with one of the recommendations, the butterfish, and it was well worth it. The key lime tart and chocolate torte were both great ways to end the meal.

Literally the best braised short ribs. My husband and I love that they have both seafood and non-seafood options, and everything we have tried is amazing. In addition, the service is awesome, and when it's nice out, I love the patio.

Unfortunately we went here to celebrate my birthday and my entree took an extremely long time. Everyone else was served. The manager did everything he could, but there was no excuse for that. It was just a sushi roll.

I finally convinced my husband to dine at Roy's. I have heard good things from co workers and friends about the place. As we walk-in the restaurant, the establishment reflects a fine dining ambiance, your high end steakhouse-look if I may say. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming what I thought was the Maitre D' but later on found out Cade is our food server as well. I peruse their menu on what looks good as the restaurant claims they have a Hawaiian fusion type of menu Cade our knowledgeable food server gave us a couple of recommendations and we went with that. For my libation I have chosen my usual 'Moscato' although I was eyeing their Hawaiian Martini, which I have decided I will try later. To start our dinner, I choose their 'Lakanilau' Roll a sushi that contains Wagwu beef overlay, sow crab , avocado, tempura asparagus on the inside garnished with Sesame miso and truffled greens. We also added the Canaoe Appetizer for two, now that's an array of appetizers- potstickers, bbq ribs, Asian eggrolls and a portion of cabbage salad. For our Dinner, we have chosen to share the Roy's classic combo - a combination of 'Misayaki' butter fish and Braised short ribs beef accompanied with broccolini greens, sautéed mushrooms and sesame jasmin rice - a huge serving that definitely could be share. A wonderful and delightful dining experience, to have an attentive and very gracious Food Server named Cade, a welcoming friendly Manager named Joe and a delicious, tasty dinner all are a perfect combination of a great dining experience for sure we are looking to come back and visit again and again.

The food at Roy's is consistently good; however, we were seated on cracked upholstery (at Roy's!!!) when a nice booth where we always dine was left empty. With warm the temperature, I had on shorts and had to sit on a napkin to avoid the cracked upholstery. And we'd indicated it was my birthday and requested a booth. Also, I had to settle a different gin than Tanguaray because they were out!! How does Roy's run out of Tanguaray?? Roy's!!!

We enjoy Roy's very much and the following comments in no way will deter us from returning however, id like to make note of two things: The caesar salad was not very good. While the romaine was crisp it had not been dried well if at all which subsequently watered down the dressing significantly so that it was basically void of any flavor. The other issue was that I asked to substitute rice for potato and was not informed that there would be a $6 uncharge!!! So when I noted a $6 shrimp add-on on the bill I asked what this was in regards to and only then was informed of the uncharge. Patrick was very attentive and gracious.

The food is amazing at Roys. We realized when we looked at the menu that this is the same Roys we ate at in Waikiki a year early and brought back a lot of great memories. The best part is the butterfish taste as good in Chandler as it does in Waikiki and is so good.

Went for Mother's Day. When I made the reservation I told them 6 adults and a high chair. They set us up as 5 + a high chair. Upon arrival we asked for a bigger table, and we're informed that there were none left that could fit our party, so we crammed 6 + a high chair into a 5 person table. Waiter took half the groups drink orders at a time which was odd, but I think he was new (only one wearing the beads around his neck). We all ordered off the Mother's Day prefix menu ($49 a person), and got 6x lobster bisque appetizers and 4x seafood Benedict and 2x seafood omelettes. The bisque was great! The rest, not so much. The Benedict's were so overcooked we couldn't cut through the muffin with our provided knives....a steak knife may have worked ??‍♂️ Overall, not worth anywhere near what we paid. I would suggest people refrain from ordering things not on the normal menu.

Morgan and Chris were absolute angels! I went there for my Mai Tai fix and they made it such a lovely experience! Stellar customer service and wonderful food/drinks! Thanks to everyone at Roy's for treating a lone lass so well!
