I ordered and waited almost 20 minutes for my ordered. Online orders that sit forever seem to be the priority to be made first. There was only one other family in the dinning room. Three orders came out before the people who were dining in got their food and then Two orders came out afterwards before my food was ready. I ordered Nachos and a taco. Taco was cold and there was no Cheese on my nachos. I didn't alter any ingredients, I ordered both items as they come. The Expediter gave good service and the cashier he was training was pleasant as well. Front of the house was fine but the kitchen was awful for not being busy. My meal was not worth the $20 I spent.

Rubios has long past its supreme place for fast casual food. Today I ordered the two taco plate and one of my tacos came out with the fish cold like it just came out of a refrigerator. I gave my feedback to the young lady at the counter and I could see the non verbals from the staff in the kitchen listening in. They were not happy with my complaint. I decline to have money refunded and I declined for them to remake the food. I simply gave the feedback and asked they do better next time. All other food ordered at my table seemed to be cooked and prepared correctly. Had I seen more hospitality and a positive reaction from the staff, this review and my experience would be different. I am disappointed but will try another location.

Solid Mexican place are favorite is Taco Tuesday they have amazing fish tacos both standard and upgraded also recommend the steak and shrimp. One of my favorite things about the place is there amazing salsa bar. all kinds of fresh salsa lemons hot sauce. highly

Please staff your restaurant adequately. Like many have said, there are MULTIPLE orders sitting and never helped when going to pick up. Expectation is customers go root around for their food on the shelf. If there was more help this could be avoided. Not the kids fault who is working the entire place by himself

Love that you can order through Ubereats and still select what you want from the salsa bar as that's what makes the meal! Love the ability to order impossible meat and hope it stays on the menu. I've never dined in at this location, but they have great food quality through Ubereats as I've ordered a couple times to my office.

For years I used to order from Guadalupe and McClintock location and always had their chop salad for $8. It was delicious. I moved and I haven't been in a while and so I stopped by the Ray and rural location and ordered the same chop salad with shrimp. It now costs $12.99. It took 10 minutes to receive my order. It was terrible. It was a bunch of lettuce with barely any cheese and one teaspoon of pico de gallo. They put the dressing on the side. I couldn't believe that was all to the salad so I went back to look at the menu and they omitted the tortilla chips because they were still cooking and it would take another two minutes. It seems like something else was missing because it was so plain. I might try another location, but will not be back to this one.

I love Rubio's food, especially that they have wild caught fish. If they could get more organic stuff on the menu, I'd give them 10 stars for food! The atmosphere though ever since the remodels is so bland. The inside vibe is like a best western hotel, zero taste and authenticity. They tried to make it look like every other place on every single corner when their old tile and coastal interior was so authentic! I remember as a kid in the 00s they even had surf videos playing. Insides need a remodel, they're bland and basic. ?♀️Food is still great though!
