Hadn't been to Rubio's for years. Had lunch here on a Saturday at about 1 pm. Not too busy. Nobody in line before us. Kid who took our order was great. We all (three of us) ordered the original fish taco plate, totalling about $40. Best restaurant fish tacos I've had in a long time. Big, flaky portions of crispy fish, soft corn tortillas. Right amount of white sauce and shredded cabbage. But dang that fish was fresh out of the fryer! Plenty of chips. Beans were fine. Salsa bar was good, guajillo salsa was kind of tangy, Diablo hot sauce was great, too. Shout-out to Eric for swinging by our table when we were finished and asking if we needed anything else. Super friendly, he took care of our empty plates and cups, too. I'd return to this Rubio's anytime I was near Germann and Gilbert.

A friend recommended this place for their fish tacos. We went to a different location and found that it was closed. We looked for another Rubio's in the area and came across this location. It was worth the trip. Their fish tacos were great! The fish was well cooked and the fillings were fresh. They have special discounted pricing on Tuesdays.
