Walked in to this location for lunch . One single young lady in the front advised me that I would have to wait at least 30 min for one burger because the only other customer in the building ordered 20 burgers . So basically told us we can’t purchase food here and no reasonable solution would be attempted to service me and the few others that walked out after this .

A lot of customers in my area including myself have been having very unprofessional and careless problems with this location. The manager takes no accountability and would not take my suggestions over me reaching out and reviewing.I have had drinks served warm, after telling me even in the ice machine is down they have cold bottle drinks. I received multiple warm ones. Over $3 for a warm drink.My sister and I have ordered twice this week and both received undercooked patties, extra mustard when asked for extra smash sauce. No cheese when asked for extra cheese.The manager of this location denied his cooks of incorrectly making orders, and said they are cooked to completion and he doesn’t need to monitor their work for TWO days. I suggested he should monitor the quality for just two days and maybe it would improve. Instead of taking my advice, he continued to defend instead of trying to take accountability for their actions.

I went to Smashburger from my first time bought a hamburger a fry and a coke tried to get change for a $5 bill to tip the girl they didn't have change in the register which is amazing how do you operate a business with no change second no ice for my drink I told the girl there was no ice she said yes there is no ice no apologies no offer for a refund on my drink nothing for the customer I told her to keep the drink after being frustrated I decided to tell them to keep the whole order to keep the money I'm leaving. I call in to talk to the manager he wants to tell me the other ice machines broke and start coming up with excuses instead of being apologetic I told him I don't care about the money but I care about is that the girl should have not sold me the drink without informing me about the ice and then she didn't offer me nothing in return like a refund on my drink or even say I'm sorry I will never go to Smashburger again that was my first and my last time

Ordered online for pickup. Went in and waited awhile as the girl at the counter ignored everyone. Finally she asks for our name and we give it and get our food. We asked for sauce and she seemed annoyed and went to get it. Go to the car to realize that one of the shakes is wrong. Go back in to ask since they made two oreo ones instead of the strawberry. She said they don't do strawberry (clearly on their menu). I then ask which is dairy free and she says both are. I get home to see one shake has melted and the other isn't, meaning they are not both dairy free. Worst experience in a smash burger I have seen. Generally their employees are decent, this girl was not it.

Food is decent, service is hit or miss, not entirely their fault as I usually see one guy in the back and one running the register/helping out in the back, they're understaffed (as others have stated) but appear to be trying their best. My biggest concern is the cleanliness, noticeably dirty tables/surfaces that don't appear to get wiped down, bathrooms are pretty bad as well and the floors appear to never get mopped, i'm shocked they have gone this long with the condition the floors are in, someone will slip if they haven't already.

Wasn't happy at all. The food was fine, but service was terrible. I had a gift certificate and they scratched off the back and 2 of the numbers could not be read. She said she couldn't take it and the manager didn't help. I now have a 25.00 gift certificate that is worth zero now.

I love smash burger... when the food comes correct and not cold. Every time we order something for delivery, it is completely messed up. The Colorado burger came as just a plain patty... with a 3 dollar refund and cold fries. If this were the first time this has happened, I wouldn't waste my time leaving a review. But every single time we order it's like the staff goes out of their way to somehow ruin somebody's meal. It's so disappointing to spend your money and never get what you pay for. This is very much so a "if I could leave 0 stars, I would!!" Reviews. Horrible service with every encounter.

The food here is good which is the only reason I have returned. The location on Alma School & Queen Creek is consistently understaffed & unfriendly and tables are dirty. The owner of this location must not ever visit or be involved. It's a shame, it could be a great spot.Vegetarian options: The blackbean burger is a great alternative to meat.

Ordered through Smashburger app for delivery. Food was not delivered to my house. When I called, the customer told me that Smashburger app does not have the option of delivery. I drove to the restaurant and asked for a refund. They said they’re nothing they could do and it was the third party delivery service’s (Skipcart) fault. And I told them that I found my burger three houses away and no shake. And the employee told me, “I made your shake so I don’t know what to tell you.” Essentially, this employee questioned my ethics oversight the cost of a milkshake. And lied to my face about whether the app had a delivery option when I showed him at the restaurant. The manager was no help. I was called a lied, essentially a thief and dismissed. This has been the worst customer service experience that I have had it a long time.

Haven't been to a smash burger in a long time, went back for the first time the other day and wow things changed there. First of all I will say that the food was good the burger, smash fries, and pretty good carbonation on drinks. Other than that everything else was bad the dining room tables were almost all dirty crumbs, stains, etc. The portion on a large fry is absolutely awful 4 dollars for a large fry and I could literally pick up all those fry's with my hand. Not to mention how expensive it got all I got was a single burger with LG fry and regular drink came out to almost 17 bucks! Over priced safe to say I most likely won't be coming back to this chain. I would recommend going to Culver's, in n out, habit, etc even five guys atleast five guys gives you great portioning! Also would like to add that the African American girl that worked up front was helpful.

UPDATE: Okay, so Smash Burger reached out to me and gave me a credit on my account and I am changing my rating from a 1 star to 3 stars for this location. I ordered at the San Tan Village location and it was remarkably different. My order was earlier than promised, hot, and the person was very friendly!DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT go to this Smashburger. Visit the other locations. As a Level 7 Google Local Guide, I visit many restaurants and do not only report bad experiences. I report on good experiences as well.So, I had an online order that they messed up more than half of the order. They said to come back and they'll remake it. I went back and they said they didn't have any note that indicated they would do so. So I tried contacting the manager, which took forever to finally get a hold of. After about a week or two, I had to call in again myself. The manager was very helpful and ensured that they try to hold to a "golden standard" for all experiences. So I came in today, 10/29/23, and had the order remade. I waited for, literally, 30 minutes, and when I asked how much longer until it was ready, I discovered that they didn't even start on it AFTER 30 MINUTES! The shift manager told me that I have to wait for other people's orders, who came in before me. HOWEVER, people who came in after me got their orders and left already. I'm literally still waiting right now after about 45 MINUTES! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE PERIOD!!! I will probably not come to this location again!!THEN after 45 minutes I went up again and asked how much longer. The shift manager was really rude AGAIN and was condescending to me, as if I was the one in the wrong. The shift manager was also rude to Madden, the cashier. UNBELIEVABLE!!It's now been 50 minutes and I still have not received my order!I got my order after 55 minutes. My kids were really hungry after this. What a nightmare!!I do have to give props to the cashier, Madden, who was very nice and professional.
