Extensive and fun menu, have been here on several occasions and have no complaints on the food choices and quality. Service on last visit was a bit too hands off which thwarted ordering a second beverage; but overall, enjoy the atmosphere immensely.

Great ambience; perfect for date night, girls' night, etc. The service was great as well; attentive but not annoying LOL The food we had ranged in rating for me. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts & Cauliflower were by far my favorite dish! I definitely recommend it (10/10). My husband is gluten intolerant so everything we ate was gluten-free, so we were excited to have those options. Not pictured was the Chicken Pesto Flatbread on cauliflower crust (6/10) and the Flourless Chocolate Cake with Raspberry drizzle and vanilla ice cream (9/10). We also went for Whiskey Wednesday and the live music; we both had our go-to drink, Old Fashions with Makers Mark, which was 1/2 off. They were great!! The live music was great as well; soulful music, not super loud at all. We will be back!

I called mid-week to inquire about making a brunch reservation for that Saturday. I was brusquely told that one wouldn't be necessary. Our party of 3 arrived on Saturday at 10:45 am. The restaurant was entirely empty except for a woman sitting at the bar who glanced our way, but did not appear to be an employee. Another very nicely dressed woman was setting up and decorating for an event, but was also not an employee. A man was outside smoking but did not identify as an employee. We waited at the host station for over 5 minutes and the entire time never saw an employee. We left and had an enjoyable brunch with excellent service at BLD.

Everything used to be great here; but we noticed some things have changed. For one, the awful tasting tap water. Would be great to have been given options; bottled water etc. Food is good (we had Pizza, Bruschetta and a steak sandwich. Hubby did not care for the steak sandwich. Staff good…..could be a bit more customer-centric but it works as the concept is “Living Room”, ………..when in Rome I guess. ?

Got to the restaurant and after 23 minutes of being sat down we finally had to ask to get a menu and some water.Sushi was terrible and served dry, minced and nothing fresh, no fresh food in any of the sushi. Sushi had no dressing, no garnish, no chopsticks, no utensils. One of the flatbreads was very soggy. The spinach and artichoke dip, had basically no artichoke. I pointed out to a server that the Sushi was dry (they said "yeah we just have it brought in pre-made now),and I asked for chopsticks and utensils. I also pointed out that the spinach and artichoke did was different and used to have artichoke in it, to which the server said "yeah we have changed some recipes". My fiancé and I used to love coming here. At no point did anyone offer to rectify anything and the servers had a terrible blaze, nonchalant, lackadaisical attitude towards everything. After being a regular here for the last 3 years I can say with a degree of certainty that I will not be back.

Nice drinks. Comfy outdoor seating. But feels like you’re in the middle of an apartment complex… because you are.
