I stopped by last night to pick up some takeout food, and Tina completely made my night. She put together a huge vegetarian combo of items for 2, and insisted that if I didn't like anything that I could come back and she would make it right. I can't imagine that ever being necessary because every time I visit the food is absolutely amazing. And I found out everything she makes is gluten-free (including the injera, which she makes the traditional way using teff flour only, while a lot of other restaurants mix regular flour in), which is an added bonus! This is really such a unique restaurant, where you can feel how much love is invested into the food and how much they want you to enjoy your experience. I can't recommend this place enough!

I've always wanted to eat at a great Ethiopian place around AZ and I finally found it here at Tina's! Tina, as I can tell, is warm, inviting, and compassionate about her customers. I had no idea what to order since it was my first time ever being there and she hooked me up with an amazing combination platter and a few more goodies! The entire meal was both flavorful and filling.

The family missed good Ethiopian food from DC area and decided to check it out. Got the royal treatment from the owner and even helpful advice for our home search. The food did not disappoint. Rich and Flavorful! We need to head back soon

This is a wonderful place owned by an amazing lady. We came in after they had closed the establishment. She saw us hungry and opened up the place for us, to cook us some of the best wats(sides) and injeras. The chef cooks with love to feed her guests. We had their injeras with chicken and some veggie wats. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The spices make you come for more. Stop by this place leisurely for dinner or lunch, and you will not regret it.

Tina and Abhi (Abby?) were the nicest restaurant owners and made us delicious food. The injera was delicious and so were all of the entrees, and they are such genuine honest restaurant owners it really makes you want to return and support them. Incredible service.
The service was very friendly and warm. The food was outstanding. I would suggest one of the combination dinners so you can try a few of their specialties! We use to go to another Ethiopian Restaurant in Phoenix called GoJo and they went down hill in service and serving size. However, at Tina's you will leave satisfied.
