The barbecue is good but it's clearly apparent they don't pay attention to the orders that come in online because they always forget an item of mine. There hasn't been one time they've gotten my whole order correct.

I'm disappointed this visit. Even placing my order at 7:15 I'm told they close soon. I asked don't you close at 8pm? He responds yes. I reply "so we have time to eat?" He doesn't say anything. As we are eating he turns all the tv's off. It was only 7:35. I let him know the tv's went out. He says again "we are closing" and he has to turn them off. I ask him to turn it on because it isn't 8pm yet and we are still here. He turned on only one. As we are finishing our meal he turns off the TV. No we didn't go to watch TV yet it was rude to turn them off as we were there while the business is open. No customer service skills from this kid. While I genuinely appreciate the military discount, the lack of respect/common courtesy means more. I had my daughter with me attempting to show her my favorite local places. She is here visiting from Sacramento, CA.I have been here before and have always been treated with dignity and respect. That was not the case today. I hope management will train this kid to better serve the valued customers. Thank you, Daniel, US Army (Retired)

Tom, why is a BBQ joint in the middle of Chandler empty on a Sunday afternoon after church?I really wanted to like this place, but everything from the employees, food, and general vibe was just mediocre. Is everything mediocre because there are so few customers or are there so few customers there because everything is mediocre?

Both of our orders were fantastic! I had 2 meat plate with Brisket & Sausage, I wish I could make Brisket that tender and juicy!Wife had salad with chicken, even though the salad kept growing, she couldn't stop taking another bite.Fried Pickles were hand battered and not from a frozen bag, very tasty!Been to other locations, never been disappointed.

Picked up BBQ about 45 minutes before close on a weeknight. They were out of most sides and meat other than pulled pork. Service was great but out BBQ sandwiches/dinner was really greasy. May be due to the time of night?

Below average. Oily, seems baked not smoked. Not to say I read or I am saying they claim they smoke just that this tastes like something my mom could teach me to make is a slow cooker. There are places like Dickeys bbq so this is not the worst I’ve had but reading “best in the valley” is a joke. I could get better corn bread at grocery store. The pulled pork sandwich at QT gas station is better than Tom’s.If they really were the best something has changed.

This place literally helps us miss Chicago all lil less. It doesn't matter what you order, it'll be delicious.

I tried to call them around 7:30pm because they closed at 8pm and wanted to make sure they were still accepting orders but no answer. Then after placing an order online and it being confirmed, they call back from the same number saying they are out of fish and I can report the order to get my money back. They were no help at all and because they use “clover”, a third party app , to take payment , they are saying I have to go through them to get my refund rather than just canceling my order and giving me a refund. The clover support is not helpful at all because they don’t provide a number or any way to get in contact about any issues with orders or the restaurants they work with. I’ve been to Toms so many times and have never once had an issue so I’m very disappointed this happened with one of our favorite places.

I got the two meet combo brisket and hot links with coleslaw and the red beans and rice. The brisket was super stringy and tough, the coleslaw was watery and the red beans and rice were bland and hard. I've been looking in the window of this location for months and finally decided to try. I was disappointed but the Hot Links were decent and the guy working the register was a nice guy . Definitely would try something else but it'll be a while before I decide to go back
