Think it's under new management. Showed up at 11:30...said they had just opened. None of the food listed....guy said he could make us a hamburger. The beer was just bottled, no craft beers at all.

Twisted Cactus has closed. I live nearby and have not seen any activity there for a month. Today I noticed a letter on the door & found it was the standard health department letter saying the place was identified as closed & any future use would require an inspection, etc...

This place is fairly small located near Albertsons. Adequate parking. They have 3 flat screen tvs inside. The food was very good and fairly priced for how much food you get. We got some ribs, BBQ rib sandwich, BBQ pork sandwich, and some tacos. All were very good. So why 4 stars? The reason is my friend and I wanted some brisket and they did not have any! The food was good but you cannot run out of brisket! Not at a barbeque joint. That is a no can do. We will probably go back next time around but you gotta have brisket in stock available!

Wanted some "BBQ" and we decided to try this small family owned place. I was a bit skeptical once we arrived since there's all these good reviews yet only one person sitting inside and the parking lot is empty. Well I was like ok whatever maybe it's just slow right now; trying to give myself the benefit of the doubt. Got the poutin fries and I personally thought they were gross, the hubs thought they were good but I think he was just starving. I ordered a burger medium done and burger came out super hot but honestly the meat was flavorless and overall the burger was just boring and not with the price. Well 5hrs later, I'm getting major stomach cramps, a fever, nausea and well..if you haven't guess it, I got food poisoning. Sitting on my bathroom floor with watery eyes and pain where the sun doesn't shine as I type this. Sucks that we paid over $60 on food that was mediocre just to have it kick me in the a*** literally. Really wanted to like this place since the owner and cook were super friendly, but unfortunately I will not be coming back.

A lot of suspicious reviews of this place. Rudy's has far better BBQ and the burger I had there was on par with a school cafeteria.

Amazing barbecue, their barbecue sauce is to DIE for! I always order a side of it even if it comes with it. Great service and atmosphere, and plenty of options for anyone and everyone.

Thought we would try a new place, so stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. We liked the idea of picking a small local place. This one was disappointing. My soda was flat. I ordered a side salad as my side, I got fries. I thought maybe this was the universe telling me I could have fries, but they were not hot and not fresh. The sandwich I got was OK, but not great. The burger was charred on the outside and a little too pink on the inside. Our drinks went without refills as the two gentlemen working chatted with friends. I heard way too much about a resin table he tried to make, while we waited with empty drink glasses and plates pushed aside. I can forgive a place for something going wrong on a busy day, but this was not a busy day.
We went by on Saturday and they were closed. Came back today, Wednesday and they were out of chicken wings and only had 3 ribs left. We need to give it another try because the ribs were way over done, the poppers were very bland. We aren't from Arizona but are here for a bit for work. We will try again.

Really bummed about our experience here tonight. Used to stop by frequently and always loved the beer selection and great BBQ. When we arrived there were no staff anywhere to be seen. Saw a cook sitting in the back and called out to him several times. He finally noticed and came out to seat us. He said the waiter would be out soon. Our beers were flat and bitter tasting. They were out of brisket, wings and ribs. We ordered burgers and they were over-cooked and tasteless. The only good thing about the meal was the garlic truffle fries. Needless to say, we don't plan on returning, especially considering how expensive the meal was.
