Not worth trying simply because of their service. The bald Uncle is extremely rude.Edit after the owner's reply : How did you know that we are the same family that reached at 2:28pm . That means you know you were rude to us .Now a rundown to what led to this - Before coming to the restaurant we called them at 2:25pm to know if we can still dine if we reach in 2 minutes . They put a condition that we need to order only once to which we agreed and reached at 2:28pm .First of all , you are not doing a charity and could have simply said No when we called .Now , when we were placing the order , husband asked if we can have chhole bhature , the bald Uncle threw attitude , made a pissed off face and said "bhature shature nahi Hain" .Imagine talking about your own menu, the food you serve to your customer in this manner .At that point I wanted to move out but husband realised that I was hungry and we settled for Dosa which was fine for the price .Anyone who wants to eat here might like the food on a good day , but just pray that the bald Uncle who probably is the same person replying to every critical review in a rude manner is not in a bad mood . Because he can really put a huge dent to your experience of dining in here .All the best and learn to be a little humble . You earn respect , don't expect me to respect you when you don't respect my family and their time .

NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE. It was clear all the food was pre-made and simply reheated and served on paper bowls. The food was not fresh at all. The poori was extremely oily and the curries were bland and stale. The mango Lassi had been sitting on the counter for what seemed like multiple hours before it was handed to us. The rice that was served with the dal was cold, they did not even take the effort to reheat rice properly. The lady at the counter was also rude after we asked her about taking the wrong order and tried placing the blame on us. All this coupled with the exorbitant prices makes this restaurant a no-go unless you're looking to waste money. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I am giving them 2 star not for their food but for their atmosphere and especially cleanliness. This place definitely can be cleaner, especially the entrance door. So gross, I hate touching it. But the dosa is very good and price is ok. I go for the food, not the atmosphere or ambience, which is completely lacking.

Been visiting this place for years. The food is always fresh, tasty and authentic. If you want authentic South Indian food, go here. Don’t miss their rava dosa and bisi Bela bath.

Pretty good menu. Tried there Grill Thali for 14.99$ which comes with Idly, Masala Dosa, Vada, Sweet and Chai. I loved it.For there Poori Masala, as they give masala dosa as Curry for Poori. But the women in the Front desk has swapped the masala with Chenna Masala, so nice of her. I would visit this place again.Vegetarian options: Pure Veg Kitchen in Kannada Style.Parking: bunch of parking

I drive from central phoenix to come here because sometimes I have an intense craving for a dosa. The onion rava masala dosa is so yummy. It’s like a drug. They make excellent food here and it’s just a hole in the wall place and price is affordable. I am so grateful they are always open too.Vegetarian options: Samosa chaat is the other item I crave and love here too. And the chai. This place is one of my top favorite restaurants. The samosa chaat has yogurt or curds in it if you are vegan.

Please DO NOT eat here. Myself and Wife ordered Masala Dosa and Chole Bhature. When got home, there were exactly two spoons on potato mixture in the center of the dosa and Chole Bhature was pathetic. Will never go there again.

Craving some veggie comfort food? Woodlands Vegetarian South Indian Kitchen hits the spot. Their idlis are a dream - light and fluffy, soaking up the rich, complex sambar like champs. It's a true sambar masterclass - perfectly spiced, not too spicy, and just the right amount of tang. The masala dosa joins the party as a crispy, crepe-y champion. The potato filling is a savory symphony of spices and chunks, and the whole thing comes together in a satisfying, textural dance. This dosa is a textbook example of why it's a South Indian classic. Now, the onion rava masala dosa was a bit of a misstep. It leaned towards soft and chewy, rather than the classic shatteringly crisp we all know and love. Still, the filling was a delicious mix of onions and semolina, and the masala was spot-on. Just a small adjustment in crispness could make this a contender for rava dosa glory.Overall, Woodlands is a fantastic find for veggie South Indian food. The idli-sambar combo is a shining star, and the masala dosa is a crowd-pleaser. Just be aware that the onion rava masala might not be your textbook crispy experience.

Ordered few items out of which I wanted to talk about parota kurma and tomato rice. Worst ever dishes I have ever tried. Never ever expect parota to be like it is, Its like a hard crisp chapati, and that mixed vegetable curry is anothe level of odd flavours. I don't even want to talk about that Tomato rice it has got bellpeppers in it and got worst taste. Onion chilly uthapam was good and poori curry is ok.
