I hate writing this because my family and I have gotten takeout from Gabby's almost every Thursday night since they opened (in fact, also at Bonn-Fire too before Gabby's replaced them). My son and I like the food but my wife is at best on the fence about it. Our son is special needs and going out to restaurants is almost never an option, so this Thursday night takeout is our only weekly restaurant thing. Last Thurs I called as usual to order and was put on hold immediately. Not a problem: this happens frequently with every business. But the phone was never picked up again. Having been through this before with them I knew hanging up would likely mean calling back over and over getting busy signals each time. We were hungry though and eventually I just drove directly there, my cell still on hold. I told the bartender what happened, showed her my phone and said "You can hang up now". She muttered a pseudo-apology and I ordered the takeout in person, intending to wait there even though it's always a little uncomfortable leaving my son home alone longer than necessary (my wife wasn't home this evening). She took the order and said "Would you like a drink while you wait?" I said yes and ordered a beer, assuming she meant on the house. She did not, dropping the check next to me which included the beer. I was annoyed enough that I didn't finish the beer. This is just poor customer service. Over the last months and more, every employee they had who made us feel welcome and were good at their job has left for whatever reason (Kristen, Sandy and Dave) and now I realize that I'd really rather get our Thursday night dinners elsewhere, in spite of the scarcity of restaurant choices in Chino.

Awesome service and delicious food, everything was cooked to perfection. Everything I've tried has been delicious and they serve more than generous portions. We came to this restaurant for dinner just a few days ago and this is a great American variety fare menu option family restaurant. The server who took care of us, her name is Rachel, she was so sweet and bubbly, she made our experience here very enjoyable. She was very attentive, the food we ordered was very good and the place has a fun and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this nice restaurant if you are looking for a fun, relaxing, good food kind of place to eat!

We sat in the bar area and the female bartender could not be more attentive! She was outstanding and so was our lunch. The young man who cleared our table was the epitome of how our younger generation should be raised. He asked us if we enjoyed our lunch?! We smiled from ear to ear!
