“Talk about a hidden gem!I take a trip from Bisbee to Douglas once in a great while and dont isually stop and eat. Today I was with the wife and daughter and decided to give this place a try. We pulled up and I immediately thought the worst.....look at pic. Once inside, it was small to say the least but tastefully done with comfortable booths and tables. Our server was quick and took our order for drinks and food. She then brought over a crisp flour tortilla with refried beans on top. Green and red sauce as well. This was a nice change from your typical basket of chips.I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. My wife ordered the Douglas Burrito. My daughter also ordered the Carne Asada Burrito and the Tortilla Soup.Everything was excellent and large portions. Everything tasted great and it was well done. The red and green sauce wasnt to hot but just spicy enough to leave a little heat on your tongue.I will”

“After moving to Cochise County, I made a personal goal to try every cheese crisp in a 2 hour radius.This is it. This is the one.I have been eating cheese crisps nearly 40 years. I can’t even deal with as of writing this this spectacular specimen of cheese and tortilla, crisped to perfection, is only $4. The service is regularly awesome.The tortilla: thinner than average, which gives it an awesome light tooth. Does not seem to be “grilled” like some local cheese crisps.The cheese: I believe this is Monterey Jack and Cheddar. Salty and delicious.The dipping salsa: Free chips and salsa, and that salsa has a strong tomato flavor, no chunks, great spice, excellent companion to said cheese crisp.Please come and treat yourself to the delight of the world. Cheese crisps are for everyone. This one is for you. Chimichangas also great.”

“Small place that focuses on takeout, but you can dine in. Chicken is great even though I always have to add salt. Crispy, perfectly cooked, and when dipped in the big container of salsa they give you will have you craving another visit. Call ahead as everything is made to order. Prices are crazy reasonable! They give you a huge bed of French fries that your chicken sits on. The fries are not crispy like you may be used to... they are more of a regional style down here that although tasty, are very crispy. Ask for salt!”

“Anyone who doesn't like the food in this restaurant has no appreciation for good Mexican food. Everything is always excellent especially their taco salad with chicken which ranks best of any I have had in all the Mexican restaurants I have visited throughout the country. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated in a very old, historic building. The city of Douglas is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant for the locals and visitors and I hope it will continue to thrive.”

“Lai Lai is a gloriously tasty no-frills Chinese-American restaurant that has been serving Douglas for almost 30 years now. The rice and lo mein are the best of the best out there, bar none. They are infused with a magnificent, wok seared flavor, wok hei, if you will. It's a character that is absent in the food of most other restaurants in the entire state.I am personally a huge fan of their egg rolls, crab puffs, General Tso's chicken, Teriyaki chicken, and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup is the best in the world, I've never had better. The rest of those items are done very well.I would say that the most popular item is the Orange chicken, as someone is bound to be ordering it whenever I go for my food. There is something here for everyone to enjoy. From the sweet: Sweet and Sour, Pineapple, and Lemon Chicken, to the savory: Mongolian beef, Garlic chicken, and Curry chicken.They do have a lunch special, which can be ordered from 11-3 every day that they're open. With the lunch special, you get fried rice or lo mein, a small spring roll, and one entree off the beef, chicken, or pork portions of the menu packed up nicely in a takeout container for only $6.50. It's an absolutely great value for the price!All in all, if you like old school Chinese food and want to partake in the classics, Lai Lai is the place to go. Although they're the only game in town, they do it absolutely right!(NOTE: As of February 2022, Lai Lai is only open for carryout. If you call ahead of time, they can have your food ready to go for you when you arrive.)”

“Lovely cafe with it’s own ambiance we enjoyed looking over the shelves and displays while we waited for breakfast.The food was excellent and served to us at the table although we had to order at the counter. Prices were reasonable.Bathroom was clean, so was the cafe.”

“We figured it was good place to eat because it was busy there on a Sunday evening. It was delicious everyone agreed (large group) despite nobody understanding much of the menu. I asked for a veggie burrito then she asked if I wanted chicken in it and I said yes so it ended up being a chicken wrap of some kind which tasted very good but it was pretty small and not like any burrito I had before - missing rice and beans! It was still very good and I guess I misunderstood what I was ordering. The place was very clean and nice people working there, food was fast.”

“I haven't eaten the food, I always get the frozen ice coffee sugar free vanilla. Today I was in there and order a frozen coffee and I asked for the senior discount and the young lady was supposed to have given me one with a discount. She charged me 6.25 and when I mentioned it. She told me that it was the correct price so I told it's weird cause I was there the other day and the other young lady only charge me 5.76 or something like that and she said that now they charge for the whipped cream. I said is that right since when. I just want to know if it's true. This isn't the first time she has charge me like that”
