We phoned in our order and arrived on time. But they didn't get the order started until we arrived, because they were so busy. So know ahead of time that you will be waiting to get your food. However, know ahead of time that you are going to love your food. The quesadillas are amazing AND the tacos are so unique and delicious! I am not a fan of cilantro, so they made my food without this spice. However, my family loves cilantro and they loved their food as well! If you're truly NOT in a hurry, make this your next taco stop. You will love their unique take on a delicious taco!

The carne asada was well cooked, marinated and packed with flavor. The owner was at the property and was very welcoming although we arrived right when they were closing without realizing it. Nonetheless, they didn't hurry us out of the restaurant. The adobada torta was amazing as well. They have several recognitions on the wall and are very well deserved.

AMAZING! Definitely get the watermelon drinks. We ordered 2 shrimp, 2 carne asada and 2 el pastor tacos. The shrimp were my favorite and then the el pastor (although a little spicier). I can't wait to go back and try everything else! YOU MUST GO!
I heard about this place on Facebook so I dragged my husband there for lunch. We drove right by it because it’s a little hole in the wall and doesn’t even advertise with its name. It just reads Street Tacos on the window. Anyway, we parked out front and we’re sad to see a Closed sign o the door, we were just about to leave when a young lady came out and told us she had to close since she didn’t have any help for the day. However! If we didn’t mind the wait, she would open for us!!! We couldn’t believe how kind! We ent in snd she make us the most delicious tacos I have ever eaten. I lived in Tucson for 25 years and in Surprise for 10 and have eaten in some of the most authentic Mexican restaurants around. These were by far the best. 4 large shrimp tacos and one carne asada with drinks was $30. That’s only $5 each for the best tacos I have ever had. And what great service! To open your restaurant for only 2 people! Wow! Viva la Mexico!

The awards on the wall are all valid, this place makes perfect street tacos and even better sopapillas..the tacos are served on home made street taco size flour tortillas, then served with slice of avocado..fish tacos are fried with very light crust and no grease left over. You have to ask for hot sauce and it is tasty and not flaming..sopaillas are so light and perfectly round, served with honey and cinnamon..they lay the dough in the fryer on its side to puff them up while being very light…very small restaurant with 4 tables and a bar…while it may not seem like much from the outside..the food is everything promised

We walked into a hole of a restaurant that was simply amazing. Food was awesome. We had tacos, burritos, and sopapillas that are not on the menu so ask! The watermelon drinks were so goid, I had 3 and my bride had 2. Ann our waitress was so helpful with her recommendations and very friendly. We plan to visit AZ again next summer and can't wait to eat at La Bamba's.

We got a drink, 3 Tacos, a quesadilla and sopapillas for $40. The food was fresh and very good. The prices were a surprise as none were listed in the restaurant. We found this under 'Cheap Eats" with a single $. I believe that is misleading. This belongs in the $$$ category. But the food and service were top notch.

Never imagined tacos could be so good…they were full and we had to wait a little…but the service was friendly…..and the tacos…..amazing!!!
