Fresh food, Friendly service, spacious ambiance.Weekend Waffles, berries, whipped cream & oatmilk latte YUM! Needed to get online for a bit so why not enjoy some good grub while I work.

Favorite coffee spot in flag. I loved their iced mocha lattes. It's not syrupy, I think they make their own mocha mix. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful coffee shop! Our first time there and we were so impressed! Our coffee drinks were delicious! Our barista was so helpful providing us drink options and guiding us to our perfect drinks. Such great service! It's so cute inside, too! Can't wait to come back again!

LFTT is a regular pit stop for us when we are traveling through Flagstaff. Our favorite drink is either the spicy Fireman's Hot Cocoa or Fireman's Mocha. On this most recent trip, we also tried theirs coffee via a 6 ounce cappuccino, and it was okay but a little acidic for my taste. The service was friendly and helpful. The staff helped us navigate the roasts that they offer and suggest an appropriate size for a cappuccino to try out their coffee. The ambiance was relaxed and chill.

My boyfriend got a drip coffee and he loved it! This coffee shop it's super cute and train themed! The doorways are brick and super beautiful! Definitely coming back when I'm in town!

Great coffee and yummy flavors. There's a reason why there is a line wrapped through the building.

Cute shop in downtown flagstaff. The coffee shop I normally go to was low on supplies, so we stopped by here! The inside of the cafe was pretty cute. The drink was expensive ($10-), fairly small, and a little watered down. Although the service was friendly, I'd maybe try something else if I visit again

The employees are efficient and friendly. My mom and I got yelled at after entering for blocking the door. We later learned that door was an exit and entered through a dining area to the left of the coffee shop. Don't do what we did. My mom got a mocha latte with oat milk and I got a iced matcha tea latte with almond milk. My mom says hers tastes like hot chocolate. I like mine but it's not the best I've had. I would have liked it more with coconut milk. The milk options were oat and almond. Still loved trying it.

I wish I got her name but the cutest & sweetest barista created this specialty drink, a strawberry white chocolate mocha with oat milk and it's literally SOOO freaking delicious (you GO GIRL!! :)) Seriously my perfect variation of a coffee, more sweet than bitter. I've been here on one other occasion and likewise, the coffee was very flavorful and fresh. All around a great little spot, would definitely recommend!

Ordered a coconino mocha and it just tasted like chocolate milk ( no coffee taste at all). Also got a Affogato and there was no ice cream in it ( ice cream was the base of the drink). Very nice young man at the register and a cute and clean place. Too bad the drinks not up to par.

I had high hopes for this place. The drinks sounded delicious and the reviews were fantastic.I came in and ordered the Fireman's mocha (hot & spicy, according to the menu) with light ice. The drink that I was given looked full of ice at the top, but I doubted myself and didn't question it. The mocha itself tasted good, but there was no heat or spice to it and when I was done with it, there was still at least half a cup of ice, so I know that this was definitely not "light ice".Oh well. At least it wasn't a terrible mocha.

We came in during a snow storm. The place is really not welcoming or warm. I got a chai tea, which was fine, and my son got a lemon scone. It had a hair baked in the inside. Really grossed me out about the whole place. We soon left.

Late for the Train has a wonderful history of producing amazing coffee and nice quick bites in Flagstaff. It’s been a top notch business operation for many years. That’s why we went in to stock up on our coffee. When we arrived the place was packed with a long line of consumers and at least 6 employees working, so slowly, behind the counter as-if they were a group of zombies on a cbd high. I have traveled all over the coffee drinking world and have never seen so many employees working so slowly in place that sells caffeine. It could explain the high prices in here; where the business chooses to hire this crowd of slow moving teenagers. I’m sure this great shop could be run by two experienced and awake baristas and business would work much better.

Dear Dave Dobnick and wife, owners Late For The Train Cafe, My name is Dolores R. and I have been a loyal customer at LFTT since arriving in Flagstaff 1-1/2 years ago from Chicago. I am a member of your Rewards and have spent monies consistently enjoying your North Rim Roast coffees/lattes and the burritos/chocolate croissants. YUM! I also enjoy the chill environment at your cafe, most of the time, except for today, when I had a disagreement with your manager, Jason. I explained to him that I was upset this morning because someone had stolen my tote with my two sleeping bags, one blanket, one pair NAU sweats and my toiletries, while I was walking to your cafe. Mind you, I was quite upset at the theft, as anyone would have been. Given the circumstances Jason did not need to do the following: ask me to leave LFTT and call the police. Upon surfing your website I found that you as owner, Dave, find cafe spaces are for social connections and a celebration of the people in the cafe. Given my very bad experience of theft which is spiking in Flagstaff, downtown proper, I was trying to calm down and relax with my coffee, and truly believe your manager should have been more considerate. After all your ANU AGA quote, also on your website, states that although making money is very important for a business to survive, but money alone cannot be the only reason for a business to exist...In this case, your manager should have been more understanding and not let the matter escalate the way he did. I have managed staff and hold an Associates Degree in Leadership. I would have handled the situation entirely differently. I would hope that you will speak with Jason, and have him not cause any further problems for me, when I choose to be a patron once again at LFTT, which I am almost daily. Again, I have had very pleasant conversations and have met very lovely, kind, Coffee Lovers and NAU'ers, at LFTT, and I hope to continue to do so, undisturbed. I intend to continue being a loyal customer at LFTT and I hope you, Dave, as owner, support my doing so, and please reach out to The Flagstaff Police, and let them know, that I am welcome. That you do not believe in Refusal of Service or Trespassing at your Cafe. But prefer a peaceful environment instead. Today is February 3, 2023, and like most Americans, I am still reeling from watching the Tyre Nicols video, where a police traffic stop escalates to a horrible murder, when just plain courtesy would have avoided the whole tragedy. If, plain courtesy were taken today by your manager, Jason, it would have avoided the uncomfortable situation escalating the way it did. Warmly, a coffee lover extraordinaire, that truly enjoys hangin' at Late For The Train. Dolores P.S. The Village Baker and your Composter also know me and are so kind. (Non Govt.) but aiming for my Master's Degree in Justice/Criminology at NAU.

This is such a cute coffee shop in Flagstaff! I just got a basic hot coffee, but it was really good. My cousin got something fancier and also enjoyed her beverage very much. The pastries looked good and I will definitely try them out next time we are in the area. I was full from lunch this last time.
