They catered a recent event , and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I always heard they had really good food but with my experience the tacos had no flavor the Carne Asada was just ground beef and the beans and rice had no seasoning . People We’re scrambling to find salt . the tamale was all masa . Super disappointing.

As we were driving down Route 66, what do I see parked in front of Jiffy Lube? Tamales USA!!! Our first encounter of this yummy goodness was at an event at the Museum of Northern Arizona. The tamales and Salsa Fresca with avocado were excellent! I was wondering when we would stumble upon them again! We'll, in addition to various events, you can find them in the Jiffy Lube parking lot on the corner of Route 66 and Ponderosa Pkwy. every Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM, weather permitting. Make sure you get there sooner than later though as I can tell you they will sell out as this cat is now out of the bag!The Salsa Fresca with avocado is one of the best salsas I've ever had! Fantastic tamales! Took home green chile pork, green chile chicken, pork red chile and beef red chile! They do not skimp on the ingredients! The pozole was one of the best we've ever had! Many pozoles have tons of hominy with very little meat, but this pozole is the opposite! Tasty, meaty goodness with a generous side of cabbage, chilies, radishes, lime and tostadas caseras! You definitely want to add the chilies as they give it a nice kick! Now that we know where to find them on a regular basis, we'll be back on a regular basis!Slow down and stop in! You will love Tamales USA!

We were passing through and saw the stand, we decided to try the red chili beef and a bannana nut loaf. The masa was dry. The meat had good flavor. But it's not throughout the tamale. I feel like it's a ball of masa topped with meat. The size of the tamale was perfect. I think for the price we paid that they would put more effort in to the preparation. They had a lot of chili seeds and chili skin in the meat. I wish they would have strained the chili to remove the seeds and skin prior to adding to the meat. My bread was also dry. The tamales were not horrible and maybe I just got a bad batch. Overall they were ok.

The worse tamales i’ve tasted, they were dry and very little meat inside, mostly masa. I spent $9.00 for 3 tamales.

The tamales are simply wonderful...not the hard balls of masa someone described. The masa is fluffy and moist; they really know what they are doing!

Well - I was impressed but unfortunately I only had the red beef. There’s a good variety of green, red and meat of choice. The meat to masa ratio is perfect. Good flavor all around - perfect spice and the masa wasn’t greasy at all but moist.

So I went to this tamale stand where two guys selling only tamales. I got every kind they got to try it cuz I'm always looking for a good tamale. So far I've tried the red pork, green pork, green chicken, and pineapple ginger, all were amazing the masa was moist and a good size, I've never had pineapple ginger omg that is an amazing combo I still have cheese and veggies the chicken mole to try I'm sure they will be great. I have found my tamale place thank you TAMALE USA for an amazing job. Everyone go to tamales usa on Sundays they are in the parking lot of jiffy lube on route 66 past fry's market.

Saw this place on the side of the road as I was running errands and stopped on a whim. Picked up a dozen pork tamales and some salsa. The tamales are delicious, and they have a good selection of fillings and spice level. The salsa is excellent too, and has a good kick. Would definitely recommend this place, I’m excited to go back.

The Tamales here are delicious! I recommend the Red Chile Beef and the Green Chile Chicken, although they're all good. The Salsas are good, but spicy, and everything comes at a good price.Definitely recommend

We saw them setting up and stopped to grab some tamales. We got back in the car, took a bite, then turned the car around to get some more. They were so good I'm afraid I'll never be able to enjoy amtoyone else's tamales again. Look these guys up, simply amazing. Really nice people, too.
